On that same turn, Jupiter can also be pompous and self-righteous. This energy is best used to reach out with generosity toward others and to involve yourself in social organizations that seek to broaden opportunities or uplift others.

After yesterday's lightness, today's drudgery seems even heavier. The Sun squares Pluto early this morning. That is met with the tears Neptune before the day is out. Sun in square to Pluto can produce feelings of self-loathing, seething or anger directed toward others or the rise of issues connected to things like fears or debt. Often times when these two clash there are power struggles. In a metaphorical example Pluto in Capricorn could represent a powerful corporation in dispute with a single person. Or that same powerful corporation buying out a promising startup or blocking it from doing business because it would threaten their profits. On internal levels, the goal is to reduce the temptation to go against your own core standards even in the face of tremendous challenge. Face your fears and, as the struggle is typically about power, make sure you know where your power resides.

The square from the Moon to Neptune this evening can be used to get a good nights sleep after our day long arm wrestling match with corporate. Relaxing is definitely recommended just be wary of over-indulging in alcohol or the like as our systems may be more easily influenced by then. Also be wary that both psychic and physical boundaries are more permeable with Moon/Neptune. Be sure to compensate for that. Dreams will likely be vivid or strange.

Today has lift and motivation. Mars trine Gemini is a fast talker and walker. And, with the Moon and Mars both in Gemini? Things are likely fast paced and people are probably chatty. This is an easy day to get over-stimulated or too bite off more than you can chew under Mars/Jupiter. So, stay ambitious but be realistic. If you feel the need to perform herculean tasks know that it is probably ego talking more than your sense of effectiveness or reality. Do aim high but keep your personal sense of humor. This is the trickster sign of Gemini for the Moon and Mars. Jupiter is a trickster wherever he is.

After the Moon enters Cancer this evening, folks become more sensitive and are likely tired of the days windy and chatty weather. This is where we retreat to make sense of the passing day and unwind. There is likely plenty to process that has been received just in this day. As Mercury squares Pluto we may be faced with fears, fixation or overwhelm while being emotionally sensitized by the Moon in Cancer. Hang in there and lean toward grounding that out. The Moon finds Venus comfortably as we move through the night. A little common sense and a good pillow go a long way.

We are briefly uplifted by the Moon sextile Uranus around noon. But, something occurs a bit awkwardly or too suddenly potentially causing triggers to be tripped, feelings to be hurt or injuries to occur.

The potential for injuries particularly to the hands or feet are quite thematic with Mercury in Aries conjunct the Sun. We could be trying to move ahead too quickly or suffering from over-stimulation, anger...even headaches.

While at times overly rambunctious, Mercury in Aries conjunct the Sun is energy to use toward being direct and assertive. This energy could easily be used to instigate fighting words but it's best aligned with winner's mentality, fresh perspective and a willingness to look at old problems in new ways. Do be careful about impulsive decisions but do allow your thinking to veer toward progressiveness. Be mindful while around or when operating machinery.

Heads cool as Mercury enters Taurus today. The Sun is right on his heels finding the sign of the Bull in our early evening hours. The Moon in Cancer relaxes nicely into the flow of Neptune in Pisces early in the day but is met with the potential for fears, nightmares and power struggles as the night wears on. If we've grounded our selves in self-respect and common sense throughout the day with the shifting energies of Taurus, then combating the Moon's opposition with Pluto tonight will go much more easily.

Following her opposition with Pluto, the Moon is VOC until entering Leo tomorrow at 2 AM. That kicks off our First Quarter Moon as well as several squares between the Moon and our other planets in fixed signs. In most instances we will catch ourselves locked into things that cause us to continually self-compromise or that we no longer feel comfortable or supported in. The key to that is to redirect and transform the energy we once used to engage in such things and, instead, use it toward more fulfilling or supportive activities.

The Leo Moon is tried, pressured, denied and made uncomfortable for the next 2 days. As I mentioned yesterday, there will be situations within which that we feel “locked in,” trapped, overlooked or taken for granted. We may no longer find any joy in what we are doing but feel pressured to perform anyway. These ruts of behavior and relationship/interaction patterns are being show to us for a reason. IT might feel as if these things are impossible to change right now or even tomorrow! But, today is the inspiration we needed to send us on the way to figuring out how. Make sure you can identify your part in the patterns that way you can remember your own power of choice.

Nothing much to note today except that finally the Moon may catch a break. There is pressure to balance out and navigate with the Saturn opposition. But, that comes early enough that we still have time to enjoy the rest of our day especially if we do manage to accomplish something in the big old world of adulting.

By the end of the day we may be feeling tomorrows incoming opposition from the Moon to Jupiter. This is uplifting and inspires us to make vacation plans or could even instigate a few impulse buys. Because, we deserve something new.

The Moon in Virgo comes in like the fixer she is following our Moon in Leo. We know where things are locked up. Virgo grabs her toolkit, triages the problem and starts implementing a plan of care. The Sun in Taurus can get right behind this because it feels better than being locked up and is much more accurately reflective of our personal values or self-worth. As we progress in our fixing we are gifted a more clear understand and awareness of what it is that is truly important as Venus kicks off her new cycle with Uranus tonight. It might feel temporarily uncomfortable. Plus, Venus to Uranus can indicate tremendous gains or losses. How the message is delivered is hard to predict but they all say the same thing. “What you thought was important, is not.” That becomes realization becomes more incentive toward change.

Today is gritty yet pleasurable. Earth trines dot the skies. Though, at times it may seem as if we are peddling and peddling yet still not progressing as quickly as we would like. Mars diving into Cancer shifts momentum in a way that we are encouraged to follow the flow of the river instead of attempt to push it. Ambition meets water. It would be easy to hydroplane or spin out of control.

Mars in Cancer is a defensive position more so than one that seeks to outwardly war or destroy. But, it can cause horrendous anger around matters of territory and in defense of one's home or dependents. Plus, it needs to eat and operates best when given the opportunity to be well rested. That chance comes before the night is through as the Moon in Virgo finishes her task list and doses off with Neptune.

Eureka moments abound as fresh inspiration or catalyzing information finds once Mercury finds Uranus. Virgo focuses in and prepares to give these new ideas a shot. Ambition may wane quickly once the Moon enters Libra though. The mess of cleaning and organizing look like someone else's job to her. She's got a social engagement tonight and can't be bothered to ruin her manicure.

Unfortunately she is met with friction from Mars in Cancer be that a need to take care of something at home before she goes or resistance to her going in the first place because Mars thinks its not a good place to be or thing to do. There is room for negotiation here. Neither Moon in Libra or Mars in Cancer operate directly. As supreme negotiator, Libra Moon can figure out a fix or a charming circumvent. Mars may not be wholly satisfied but will live to stew and brood another day.

Something has shut and chained the door to Eden. Our chair is impossible to get comfortable in and there is not a single drop of chocolate in this place. Libra Moon can certainly emphasize with that and suggests we reach out to our established networks for assistance. Maybe if we can do a cute video on TikTok we will be rewarded in Hershey Kisses! Either way, what we want and how much we would like to have it are prime topics of conversation today. Plus, it's a great day to pay compliments, pay a few favors or good deeds forward and express gratitude for every little blessing you can. And, it wouldn't really hurt to have a few cookies either.

Tonight's Full Moon promises to be a doozy. We are encouraged to be compassionate while keeping the lid on our personal opinions. Libra Moon in square to Pluto is difficult. A super Full Moon in Scorpio is difficult. Both become more tedious and intense when we take into consideration that Pluto in Capricorn is also stationing to turn retrograde.

This Moon is for purging. It's likely to draw things to the surface that should have been exhumed and aired out a long time ago. It is pressured because the Moon in Scorpio builds to crescendo and then starts squaring off with the rest of the sky. Meanwhile, sickness excavates itself. Skeletons crack open closet doors and demons are exorcised. It can feel a lot like emotional vomit of the repulsive and putrid persuasion. The Queen of Cups as advice is holding your hair out of the toilet and handing you a towel to wipe your face when you are finished heaving. Self-care and subsequent emotional support are musts under this Moon. So is a good defense should some of your own deep dark secrets decide to come out.

With Pluto and the sign of Scorpio in play we are again talking at matters of power, it's control and its use. But, we are called to assess our own motivations, methods and drives to ensure we are playing all our cards to their highest potential. Fear is not optional. We are called to stand steady in stare down against our demons and nab them back under our conscious command. It won't seem very dark outside as this is a SUPER Full Moon that rises fat and gleaming on the horizon at sunset. Instead the werewolves, demons and skeletons will come out into full view shirking their shadowy realms temporarily behind them.

Guide: Queen of Cups

A Note on the Queen of Cups

The Queen of Cups is definitely a gentle soul. Her advice is to be nurturing and accepting of the waters. She coats grains of sand with this fluid magically removing their sharp edges. Instead they become beautiful gemstones. She encourages endurance and being compassionate/gentle in our dealings with others more so than punitive or restrictive.

She doesn't say much. But, she will make sure you know that you are loved in spite of your humanness. She ensures you receive comfort from her right along with a nice home cooked meal. This is one of the most charitable Queen's in all the Kingdoms. In lean times, she provides her people with things like water, food and her time for listening. She can't sit at her table and enjoy her own bread when folks outside her window are starving. She has loads of empathy and cannot help but to care for those that suffer the more harsh constructs of the material world.

She encourages you to be in command of your waters. To use your compassion and empathy in a way that it brings support and healing toward others. She wants you to lead others by modeling how strength is displayed through gentleness. She wants you to involve yourself in spreading peace, comfort and relief into the world where you can. She wants you to command your intuitive nature so that you can interpret its language and use it as guide to help you know how to move forward. The message doesn't have to make sense to anyone else. It only needs to feel natural, comfortable and right to you. The results will stand for themselves.

The Queen is also sometimes a behind the scenes or anonymous supporter. She encourages you to be of emotional support to others but she wants you to know that some things can be done to help and no one needs to know where it came from. The point being to fulfill a need of someone else not our own need for recognition. She's fine letting someone or something else take credit as long as the need was met. That's the important part. She certainly does fund and supports the arts. She is quite the artist in her own right. She allows her imagination to be indulged but not to the point that it is a distraction from her main job of keeping the peace and helping her people receive the care and nurturing they need. Everything has its place. And, service to those who are dependent upon her is where she always begins.

Yet, she is a woman of secrets and mysterious ways. Sometimes it seems as if she can imagine things into existence. She is convincing with only a look. A look that is forever changing under stray flowing locks. At times, she can be at risk of keeping her anger well hidden. In cases such as that, the threats of storms will loom on the horizon finally erupting when her well runs over.

She doesn't enjoy that part of herself. There is guilt in causing damage. She is always quick to confess, express remorse and accept apologies.

The Moon wanes this morning but is still under pressure. Uranus in Taurus disturbs sleep early and Saturn wants to know how it is we were still late for work. Without good excuse, our pay is docked and unfortunately our employer is really good at backing up the reasons why with all his smooth common sense. We'll be glad to get home tonight so we can kick back with a trine to Neptune and relax with a few sips of the blood of our enemies...er...wine. I totally meant wine.

Morning could find us plotting, seething or focused...depending...as the Moon is awakened by Pluto this morning. Either way, we are called to run it all through the legal filters before breakfast to ensure we don't end up with felony. The plots and plan set on simmer for a bit at midday as the Moon falls Void. When her lights come in Sagittarius we cannot help but laugh at all that was so super serious. Sometimes the circumstances are just as ridiculous as we are. At least it will be good for a story and a few laughs if nothing else.

The Moon in Sagittarius is a blessing this round following the few days trial and testing of our Scorpio Moon. Today Mercury even relaxes in sextile to Neptune which helps prime the pump for the square that comes shortly after from the Moon.

Get responsibilities checked off early. As the evening wears on we move quickly from relaxed to exhausted. Moon square Neptune could cause emotions to sneak back up on us. My advice is to get to bed early enough so that you miss that.

The morning moves smoothly. There is not much to get excited about. But, by Noon, the boss has a million new ideas he wants to implement just as we are coming up with plans for pleasure during the weekend waxing in.

This day brings bells ringing for change. New processes that employ modern technology in practical ways that improve profit and efficiency are rolling through. There is tension as we are called to hear out the details because we've obligations at home to tend to. So, we navigate that the best we can while taking note to replace the boss' dark rich roast with decaf when we come back in next week.
