Morning Star: Astrology for the week of March 26 to March 31, 2018

Monday, Marcy 26, 2018

The wind is largely at our back on this day. We wake up to the Moon in Leo and she spends most of the day waxing into an energetic trine with the Sun in Aries which perfects at 6:15 PM. So, this may be the first day “back to the grindstone” following the weekend. But it calls for us to be up and active rather than chained to a desk. Yes. Today would be a good day to play hooky. Our first couple of days in this week are lighter compared to what we experienced under our recent troubled Moon in Cancer.

If you can't play hooky, definitely leave room for play and entertainment in your evening hours. This set up flourishes in activity and has a flare for the dramatic in a fun way.
Overnight, the Moon will pass through a faint Yod with Saturn/Neptune. There may be something in your dreams that increases your self awareness. Or you may be called to surrender to the flow instead of trying to force a certain type of personal agenda. It's a subtle movement but the operation calls for us to put our unique touch on our future plans while instilling them with a sparkle of imagination and creativity at the same time.

We continue traveling under the active energy of the Moon in Leo this morning. She makes a trine to Mercury Rx at 10:11 AM which can provide emotional support or information we may need to further uncover our identity and free our self-expression.

At 10:06 PM, the Moon squares off with Jupiter in Scorpio. This can denote the emergence of fear, paranoia or bring forth a tendency to over-blow emotional situations. Take a step back and assess all these as they emerge. Jupiter in Scorpio doesn't only give rise to potential fears. It gives you the power and strength to also stare them down and gain a sense of control over them. So what is brought into your awareness can also be handled and brought to ground. We may not feel much like production in the early part of the day and may be more inclined toward play and/or entertainment. But, the square from the Moon to Jupiter will remind of us things of we might need to refocus upon after our alley cat adventures are finished.

The Moon passes through an inspirational and lifting trine with Venus and Uranus this morning just before day break. This serves to riddle us with anticipation and an eagerness for our day ahead. It just feels good and our dreams were likely adventurous. However, following the trine with Uranus at 5:56 AM, the Moon is Void until entering Virgo at 10:32 Am. So, we wake up inspired but are encouraged to hold off on launching any new initiatives from that place of inspiration until after the Moon wakes back up in late morning.
At that time, as the Moon resides in Virgo, we will be able to look at this inspiration toward wonderfulness from a more practical point of view. We can figure out how to put this stuff to use or incorporate it into our daily operations. That gears us right in the perfect direction to monopolize upon Venus' official conjunction with Uranus at 8:48 PM. Quite simply, if something or someone is holding you back or keeping you from expressing yourself or pursuing your personal desires with authenticity, you are going to drop it like a hot rock and move on less encumbered and more free.
Venus' conjunction to Uranus occurs at 28 degrees Aries upon the following Sabian symbol: A crowd applauds a man who shattered a dear illusion. A new light is shed upon cherished ideas. Fearless constructive and public facing of facts of existence. Adjustment.

Venus makes nearly yearly conjunctions to Uranus. However, this is her last visit with Uranus in the sign of Aries. Here she passes out kisses to those who dare toward evolution of the world and her species in a way that supports the needs of ALL instead of catering to a few. So, likely what see here is everyone falling in love with the rebel and finding bit of flair for the unconventional within themselves too. We willingly embrace change and are ready to drop malefic attachment that keeps us from it. We exalt and reward those who advocate for others and refuse to be ok with adhering to an oppressive status quo. Uranus in Aries has brought revolution across the globe. As Venus finds Uranus in Aries for the very last time, we will see some of the potential goodness that comes from all that. This day is a day that honors service to others, to mankind and creature kind in general and that welcomes you to enter it exactly as you are. Venus in Aries conjunct Uranus values her independence and initiative and those who dare to be different.

At 9:26 PM, the Moon makes a nice stabilizing Earth trine with Mars drawing us again to steps we need to take in an effort to move forward. This is followed by another sturdy Earth trine to Saturn in Capricorn that allows us to see just how our brilliant self-authenticity and new found freedom can be used within the confines of our larger goals. The Moon takes all this information from the Venus/Uranus conjunction and puts it into practical application. Today is a day to take pride in who you are and what you have to offer in terms of service to the community around you. Such efforts are exalted and celebrated. We all have unique niche's of talents and abilities that can be used toward any goal we choose. Today helps us see what those talents/niche's are and also shows us how to use them.

The morning begins under pressure as the Sun in Aries is held to accountability with a square to Saturn in Capricorn at 10:17 AM. Then, the Moon in Virgo moves forward to oppose Neptune at 11:50 AM. Which says to me, “pressure induced meltdown” or “overwhelm.” Virgo can manage just about any task, really. And, at her highest vibration she uses follow through and patience to layer perfection upon her projects by way of detail. She is concerned with not only doing the job; but, doing the job right. She can perform under the pressure of Sun/Saturn. But, the opposition to Neptune from the Moon in Virgo brings in the potential for fatigue, illness, emotionality, confusion and sensitivity.

All this means in the midst of pressure to perform, we may feel guilty about it; but, we don't feel much like performing. In this instance of emotional flux, in the interest of completing the job that Saturn calls us to, we may want to step back and bit and realize that the fog from Neptune could affect our end product. Perhaps we should focus on honing our main tool (our body/our health and well being) before we move any further.

Following the midday opposition (and perhaps a nap) the sky does begin to clear and emotional matters firm up and refocus by way of a lunar trine to Pluto at 10:37 PM and a sextile to Jupiter in Scorpio at 1:00 AM. We can burn the midnight oil here or have better luck in our evening hours sheering away the distraction of Neptune and leaning into the focus of Pluto.
Following the sextile to Jupiter, the Moon is Void and remains so just about all day tomorrow. The Moon enters Libra at 1:54 PM allowing the emotional body an extended break.

Friday, March 30, 2018

This morning the Moon is Void in Virgo for quite a while. This offers us a chance to toil in mundane and ongoing tasks. Dispassionately put finishing details on existing projects. And, just sort things out in general. Emotional reaction is low.

The Moon enters Libra at 1:54 PM. Then, overnight, Venus moves to her home sign of Taurus while also bearing rulership over the Moon. Things likely go routinely under our Void Moon. Then when the Moon dips into Libra, we are ready to lighten up. Air returns to us. With the Moon's ruler in a sweet spot, it becomes a good evening for relaxing, perhaps a few indulgences and maybe even a little social activity. Tonight, if the skies are clear, our Moon will be shining large and lusciously over our nighttime activities.

Saturday, March 31, 2018

This morning our Libra Moon blossoms at 8:38 AM. She does meet with pressure on her way to full as she squares Mars in Capricorn at 3:14 AM and then Saturn at 5:23 AM. All that pressure begins to release as the Full Moon culminates. But, the conflict for our Libra Moon doesn't stop there. She will move forward to oppose Mercury Rx and square Pluto in Capricorn before the Sun breaks the horizon on Sunday.

The Full Moon occurs at 10 Libra 45 with the following Sabian Symbols bearing relevance:

For the Sun at 11 Aries: The ruler of a country is being officially introduced. Fine stewardship of collective racial ideals. Good and necessary but unimaginative conformity to standards. Idealization

For the Moon at 11 Libra: Kindly old professor is teaching a class of youngsters. Cooperation of genuinely superior agencies with beings less evolved. Glad willingness to assist and protect. Kindliness.

For the Moon's ruler, Venus at 1 Taurus: A clear mountain stream flows through a rocky defile. Purity,
excellence and immediate availability of the strength and power of being. Refreshment. Self-sustainment
Tarot of the Angels
I will be writing a separate piece about the details of this Full Moon and the Tarot Guide, the Chariot, as we get a bit deeper into this week. Essentially, though, our peacekeeping Libra Moon is greatly challenged by our planets in both Capricorn and Aries. Her ruler, however, could not be better positioned which will deliver to our Moon (in addition to her Air Venus talents) a sturdy point of focus and value to align her negotiation and mediation skills with. The rest of the sky is not geared toward such efforts. So, Libra Moon has her work cut out for her. Words and conversations are likely to be heated as the Sun waxes into conjunction with Mercury in Aries tomorrow and the Moon, herself, opposes Uranus. The key? Keep your eyes on your goal. Steer all your energies toward that direction. Just as the Charioteer negotiates with the opposing horses to get them to take her where she needs to go, we too, should continue to try find a middle ground with our eyes set with determination to move forward.
