This morning we wake up just
in time for a sweet trine from our Libra Moon to her ruler, Venus in
Aquarius at 10:33 AM. This is very settled, airy and amicable.
However, don't veer toward over-accommodation of the “other” as
the Moon in Libra stands off with Uranus in Aries at 1:46 PM which
could prompt us to blow some of the nicey nice apart. What that
opposition calls us to do is...and has been calling us to do every
time the Moon has passed by from Libra...balance out the dynamics
between self and other. Particularly anything within the concept of
“other” or “relating” that may prevent us from being
authentic or that may sink us too deeply into the expectation of
“other.” So, even though the Moon is accommodating and Venus
wants everyone to get along, don't say “yes” unless you really
mean it or you are going to be brewing resentment in your chest
later.
Following the Moon's
opposition with Uranus, she is Void until entering the sign of
Scorpio at 10:57 PM EST. After the “stress” of me versus we, we
can allow the emotional body to settle and re-calibrate a little.
Gotta tell ya. Overall, I loved the influx of Air that came with the
stellium in Aquarius in combination with the Libra Moon this past
weekend. Hopefully it offered you a chance to lighten up and air out
too.
Speaking of Aquarius. I'm
not a big football fan..not even a little. But, Foles, the
quarterback for the Eagles (Air totem, obviously) in last night's
Superbowl? He's an Aquarius. Brady? The quarterback for the Patriots?
A Leo who had his Saturn eclipsed on 1/31. Halftime show? Brought to
you by the eclipse. Justin Timberlake's birthday is 1/31. Personally,
I thought Timberlake won last night. But, yanno. He brought a
holographic Air companion with him. Prince was a Gemini Sun and
Mercury. Just wanted to point that out because I was wondering how
all that might work. Now we know. Air dominated under an Airy sky.
Leo really did get “eclipsed.” And, I thought it was cool.
Now I'll be monitoring the
Olympics since S. Korea also received an eclipse to the country's
mid-heaven on 1/31. What's that mean? I don't know. That's why I'm
watching. Though, the fact that North and South Korea will share a
team and had players train together for this event seems pretty
ecliptic to me. The opening ceremonies for the Olympics occurs on 2/9
which is actually closer to our partial Solar Eclipse on the 15th.
The great big American eclipse in Leo from last summer, the super
duper blue blood eclipse from 1/31 and our incoming partial eclipse
is crawling all over the charts for both these countries. Both
countries have Moon in Sagittarius as well which is where she is
during the opening ceremonies.

Today the Moon resides in Scorpio. She
is waxing toward a nice supportive and grounding sextile with Saturn
as wake up (9:06 AM Est). This gives us sturdy ground to stand on in
the early part of the day.
At 6:46 PM, though, she meets with
Mercury in Aquarius by square which could cause some headaches or
squabbles. Moon in Scorpio wants to go deep. Mercury in Aquarius
wants to keep it light and logical. It's kinda hard to do both. But,
it can be steered toward looking at the demons of your own emotional
body and inspecting them like a specialist in Psychiatry or
Psychology would. Essentially you can observe your emotions instead
of getting sucked in by their depths if you wrangle this fleeting
square appropriately.

Other than that, we've got a nice...NICE...sextile waxing in between Venus in Aquarius and Uranus in Aries which will lighten and brighten things a little bit. This aspect will also bless us for properly balancing those concepts found between self and other that we were called to deal with yesterday. It's going to also work to get our Scorpio Moon out of brooding or seething. The best use? Lighten up. Value and enhance your personal independence, whatever that means to you. Honor your quirks and allow others to have them too. This is friendly and mobile ushering out the night on a lighter note (8:38 PM).
Just a short while later the Moon
relaxes in trine to Neptune in Pisces which could allow us to sleep
well and dream deep under this Scorpio Moon. I don't know about you;
but, my dreamscape has been quite vivid lately. As in...who needs TV
for a good show? The one happening on the underside of my eye lids is
pretty good. A few nights ago I got to fly to the Northern
Territories of Canada in my dreams. That was pretty neat.

Today is the Last Quarter
Moon perfecting between the signs of Aquarius and Scorpio (10:55 AM).
Again, depth and analysis come into play. Remember to take a step
back and observe. But also know this is a time for full shut down of
our waning Moon cycle. This is where we start flushing things out in
preparation for our New Moon in Aquarius next week. The caution is
going to extremes and becoming too rigid since these are fixed signs
and the Moon moves on to sextile Pluto (1:17 PM) and conjunct Jupiter
in Scorpio (4:58 PM) later on. The same energy that could have us
missing the middle ground (Scorpio/Pluto) is also the energy that can
help us fully flush out our current moon cycle and finish things up.
We are focused. We are
diligent. Go deep and get it done. Just remember the middle ground
and what it is you are trying to achieve. Observe more than you get
sucked in. The day has grit. Use that to your advantage!
There is more squabble
between Scorpio and Aquarius overnight. The Moon squares Venus and
things could be a bit uncomfortable. Following this square, though,
the Moon is Void until entering Sagittarius in the morning at 8:55
AM.

The Moon resides in
Sagittarius after 9 AM EST this morning. Other than that, there is
not a whole lot going on. She makes no major aspects within the meat
of our day. She does meet with Mars in Sagittarius at 1:41 AM
tonight. So, there might be some restlessness as we try to go sleep.
Whether we are mad, motivated, inspired or just can't sleep like a
kid on Christmas Eve...it's all still Moon/Mars in Sagittarius.
Emotional affect is likely
low and more upbeat for the most part today as we've shifted from
deep waters to expanded horizons when the Moon shifted gears. The
antsy feel of tonight's Moon/Mars could feed into tomorrow's
Moon/Neptune square (resulting in fatigue due a restless night).
Other than that, seems like there is potential for a rather smooth
and upbeat day here.

This morning (on East Coast
time) is the opening ceremonies for the Olympics which will likely
end just as the Moon finds Neptune by square at 11:05 AM. If you
click the links on Monday's forecast, you can see the charts for the
Korea's that I'm watching.
Otherwise, there is chance
for fatigue, illness, decreased boundary, increased sensitivity and
perhaps, even, some irritability as this square waxes in. Remember,
silence can be golden offering us a chance to rest and restore. Naps
aren't illegal. And, music is probably what is missing.
At 3:35 PM the Moon has
amicable relations with Mercury in Aquarius by sextile. Nice,
friendly and intelligent conversations can occur here. This is a
mixture of Fire and Air that can help us maintain concern for our
future and work together to discuss answers toward the same. This
energy repeats in our early morning hours of tomorrow as the Moon
meets the Sun in Aquarius by sextile 4:16 AM. Only caution? Air and
Fire in mixture can be manic. This mixture is nice; but, hang on to
Saturn in Capricorn to stay on task and well grounded. Otherwise,
looks like a good Friday night for social activities to me.

The “lift” in the
atmosphere continues and catches flame as the fiery Moon in
Sagittarius meets with Uranus in Aries by trine at midday. She
reaches Void status following this but does go on to square Chiron at
1:44 PM. Any feelings of mania will die down once the Moon is Void
and, again, the emotional body gets a little break. Enjoy the
lightness of the morning. Get out. Stretch your legs. Explore.
At 6:20 PM, Venus dives into
Pisces. This is surely an energetic switch. Venus fits well in the
sign and will work to open a lot of cold or otherwise frozen hearts.
She is sentimental, empathic, creative, dreamy and imaginative here.
Melting. From frozen in Aquarius to mush in Pisces. This is the
softest heart I've ever seen. As someone with an Earth Venus square
Saturn, Venus influenced by Neptune is not an energy that makes much
sense to me. I want to protect that squishy heart with walls and
barricades. Venus in Pisces always manages to let love and compassion
seep out.

Right after Venus switches gears, the Sun in Aquarius squares Jupiter in Scorpio. Like...barely even a minute after. So, whatever the waxing square between these two fixed signs brings us? We are going to be prone to be “touched” by it. We care. In other words. Looking at the set up feels like a punch in the heart to me.
The challenge with Sun
square Jupiter is that it can have us blowing things out of
perspective, becoming grandiose, selfish...or we might just be taking
ourselves a little too seriously. The better management of it is to
remember the positive qualities of Jupiter. Humility. Generosity.
Warmth. But, again, the set up allows us to detach and observe. I've
a feeling there will be something TO observe happening in the world
today that might melt more than one heart. I reckon we'll see. But,
on a personal level this is self-confrontational during a time in
which we are quite sensitive. The Moon IS Void, so that will help us
navigate. She wakes up in Capricorn at 9:22 PM. This offers Venus
sobriety, support and boundary as the Moon holds her by sextile at
9:44 PM.
Sunday, February 11, 2018
It's super sober Sunday.
That's what I'm going to call it. Seems like everything has to be
“super” to be relevant these days, so why not? We wake up this
morning with the Moon conjunct Saturn in Capricorn at 9:18 AM.
Aaaand, that's about it. The only other aspect waxing in is a sextile
to Neptune from the Moon after midnight which should help us
recapture some rest in preparation for Monday morning to reboot our
week. Otherwise, it's a settled and no fuss day in which we are
encouraged to follow through with our responsibilities and chunk away
at our outstanding tasks.
Being able to feel as if
you've accomplished something and generally acting like a grown up
will fit within the construct of this day quite nicely. Childish,
brash and outlandish behavior has no room under this sky. Grow it up.
Boundary it up and take care of your business. No one will be mood
the for anything less than that today.
Also, might be interesting
