Morning Star: Daily Astrology for Tuesday, May 5, 2015

This morning we wake up to a waning Moon in Sagittarius. This (at first glance) sounds a bit lighter than Moon in Scorpio. And, in some regards, it is. However, the Moon has some tough aspects to traverse before it begins feeling markedly lighter. The Moon is waning, however, it's still pretty darn big and powerful. We may still have some Full Moon fallout to deal with under this sky.

At about Noon, our Moon newly in Sagittarius meets Saturn Rx by conjunction. There is a heaviness and sense of personal responsibility wrapped up in our emotional bodies today. Our shoulders are still carrying quite a bit of weight and that hinders our adventure seeking Moon from wandering as far as she would like.

By late evening (6:32 PM), the Moon opposes Mercury in Gemini who is now officially in his shadow. Know that the conversations you are having now and the information you are collecting will likely be reviewed during Mercury's retrograde phase. So, if it doesn't make sense to you now, give the picture time to develop. Mercury is also waxing into square with Neptune. Information can be veiled, clouded and/or confused. Or, what you are hearing may be a lie. Those details will eventually come out in the wash. But, today, much of it makes little sense and our emotional and mental bodies are at odds.

At midnight, the Moon squares off with Neptune herself letting us know it is way past time to cash in our chips for the day and call it a night. Sleep. Escape. Dream. Dissolve. Better days await us.
