Morning Star: Daily Astrology for Saturday, March 21, 2015

This morning we wake up to both the Sun and Moon in Aries. The Moon is under pressure from a square with Pluto (6:57 AM) and conjunction with Uranus (7:14 AM). So, there are still some jangled nerves to contend with. That's alright. We should get used to it. In this “between time” of the eclipses things are likely to feel shaky anyway. Either way, we are certainly awake this morning.

Between 7:40 AM and 7:55 AM there are two inconjuncts that occur. Venus meets Saturn by inconjunct first. If you have planets in the early (0-5) degrees Gemini this will create a Yod with Saturn Rx at the apex. If you have planets in early Libra, there is a Yod created with Venus in Taurus at the apex. Draw from the wisdom of the planets in sextile and feed that energy directly into the planet involved at the Apex in an effort toward the highest expression of each. With Saturn at the Apex, our ability to self regulate is tested. With Venus at the Apex, our value system is being tested. In either scenario, we may not see how the planets at the base of that Yod in sextile can help support the pivotal planet...but they do.

Mercury steps up to bat next creating an inconjunct with Jupiter in Leo. This further fuels the yod that overlaid the New Moon Eclipse of yesterday involving Mercury/Jupiter and Pluto. Personal planets in mid-degrees of Leo (10-15) sit on the apex of this Yod and have been fired up as of late with Jupiter lingering nearby. Mercury in sextile to Pluto can work to give us precious and deep insight into the situation or laser like insight into ourselves that can be used to meet Jupiter's task of “knowing thyself.” Don't be afraid to peer that deeply inward. There is valuable information to be had within all of this. The more you know about how your machine operates, the more effectively you can drive it.

By 6:51 PM the action is at full roll as the Moon meets Mars by conjunction. Right after this, though, the Moon is at rest again even if the body may continue to toil. The VOC period lasts for about 12 hours until the Moon enters Taurus at 6:41 AM tomorrow.

Today is likely to be busy and active. Folks may have a lot that they feel like they need to accomplish. Plus, the emotional body is pressurized prompting us to move about under the tense aspects from the Moon to Uranus, Pluto and Mars. Just be conscious of what you are doing and don't be the guy running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Discharge this energy consciously and smoothly while remembering the main thing is not to get too excited...or stupid. Get twitterpated if you want. That will feed nicely into the atmosphere of tomorrow as our lunar goddess leaves Mars' ambitious world and enters the realm of Venus. Might want to make sure to put “stop at the store and pick up chocolate” on your to-do list today to get prepared for that.
