Morning Star: Daily Astrology for Thursday, March 26, 2015

This morning we wake up to a motivating sextile between the Moon in Gemini and Mars in Aries. From here, the Moon is Void before sliding into her home base of Cancer at 3:46 PM. While today is not earmarked for starting anything new, it is set up to allow us time to make progress on whatever it is we may have already started. We may feel motivated toward this as the day begins. But, this motivation may wane as the day moves forward and we become less and less emotionally engaged in the work we have before us. At this point, we are just toiling.

By the time the Moon enters Cancer this afternoon, we may be ready to just go home. We could be yearning for those familiar comforts. That yearning could cause us to put our ambitions on the back burner for awhile. If you've managed to get ahead of your deadlines, then you can afford cashing your chips in early today. Otherwise, you may have to delay your call toward comfortable retreat and finish your chores up first. Either way, tension between “Get out there and just do it” and “I just want to stay home” is growing as the First Quarter Moon waxes in overnight pitting our Cancer Moon against our Aries Sun. Warriors have to eat too, man. So, if you can, call the war off early today and go home to refuel. If you can't, hang in there and promise yourself some creature comforts at the end of your work day as a reward for your efforts.
