This morning, we wake up to a Moon in
Taurus and her current ruler, Venus, in overdrive. At 2:11 PM, Venus
perfects in trine to her current ruler, Jupiter in Leo. That aspect
is reinforced by a square from the Moon in Taurus to Jupiter at 4:13
PM and an inconjunct to Venus at 4:26 PM. Ok, there are going to be
some people who take this glorious aspect and shower themselves
selfishly with it. I don't see much wrong with being a little selfish
as long as you don't get downright stingy with it refusing to share.
Sharing is where the real fun comes in under this sky.
By 5:30 PM the Sun is in trine to
Uranus. This is a bit weird for a Taurus Moon to experience. We may
be prompted to get up off the couch and socialize with our friends.
Or, we COULD share our couch with our friends and, then, we don't
even have to go out! There may be a community event that we are
obligated to attend. We may be jolted out of our peacefulness through
the disturbing equivalent of being poked by a cattle prod. Sun trine
Uranus is not cumbersome. But, it sure can be disturbing to a Moon
that likes things smooth and settled.
Some people will ride the incoming
lightning bolts with enthusiasm. Others will be rattled and jarred by
them. More, still, will satisfy all the energy in the sky by staying
on the couch and connecting with Internet friends or indulging with a
little online shopping. That certainly works for this.
We will be prone to self-indulge. How
much fun is it to wallow around in tandem indulgence? Some Taureans
may look at that last statement in horror. Share? My stuff? I don't
understand! Yes, Taurus, it's ok. Sharing is nice and makes you feel
all warm and fuzzy on the inside much like your favorite blanket is
all plush and fuzzy on the outside. Give it a shot. You never know,
someone might share something equally nice with you.
Today people may be inclined to spend
money. What? Haven't we had enough shopping? Yes, but we spent all
that time shopping for everybody else. I want to sneak in one little
bitty purchase for myself! Merry Christmas to me!
Folks, there is nothing wrong with
treating yourself once in awhile ok? No matter how you do that. But,
if you find that you have an abundance of something, share it with
others. Reach out with generosity and benevolence toward your fellow
human without hoarding it all to yourself. Reach for true comfort,
not what it is we are told we need on TV. But, if you have some spare
change rattling in your pocket and you want to use it to buy the
newest version of the George Foreman Grill then, well, go for it.

On a positive note, Sun in Sagittarius
trine Uranus in Aries sounds like freaking fun to me! That aspect has
the potential for adrenaline rush all over it. Too bad cows aren't
really into adrenaline rushes. Just try to get one on a rollercoaster
and see what I mean. The potential for adrenaline rushes increases as
Mars finds his way into Aquarius at 6:57 PM. The air begins to
crackle with excitement.

All in all, what is key here is
moderation. Indulge without over-indulging. Spend but don't
over-spend. Bring a little common sense with you if you are seeking
out an adrenaline rush. And, treat yourself without being overly
selfish about it. Do, but don't overdo.
The barometer for “over-doing”
waxes in overnight with the Moon's opposition to Saturn at 1:46 AM.
Did I REALLY eat that whole pie all by myself? Yep. That's why you
have a belly ache. Or it could be a restless night as we suffer from
buyer's remorse in light of all the new debt we just accumulated. Or,
we could feel guilty for hoarding all the Oreo's and not sharing even
one (well, I wouldn't feel guilty about that, but, someone might).
Or, if we keep things within the realms of good common sense and
indulge gently and are generous at the same time, Moon/Saturn can
bring a solid sense of satisfaction.
After the opposition to Saturn, the
Moon is Void until entering Gemini tomorrow at 5:29 AM. The Moon is
nearly full and as the Gemini energy waxes in, things become less
steadfast and more windy and mobile. The volume in the sky is going
to get turned up and there is a good chance of people trying to talk
over one another and, well, the energy itself isn't heavy. But, it
certainly is mentally busy, potentially loud and chatty (not to
mention fickle, changeable and unpredictable). Get a solid night's
rest tonight in preparation for that. Anchor your Christmas décor
and hold on to your winter hat because things could get a bit windy.
