Morning Star: Daily Astrology for May 8, 2014

This morning we wake up to Moon in Virgo forming a mutable T-square with Mercury in Gemini (5:26 AM) and Neptune in Pisces (5 PM EDT). The square isn't tight. However, the square from Mercury to Neptune will still be waxing even after the Moon moves on. It perfects on May 11th.

Moon in Virgo can be prone to worry. With the aspects she is making today, that worry could be fostered from an imagination gone wild. I told someone last night, "Yes, that has the potential to be horrible. But, we aren't going to entertain that potential right now. Ok? If the day comes where that worrisome potential is fulfilled, we will deal with it then. But, until that time, we aren't going to worry about it because it's a waste of energy that we need for other things right now."

Josi thinks King Neptune is pretty HAWT!
Conversations and emotions, in general, can feel confusing or elusive. You may need to do a few gut checks for what is real here. Virgo is an Earth sign bringing some grounding to the building Mercury/Neptune tsunami.

Virgo also likes to organize and categorize information. So, you may spend some time separating the stories you hear into fact or fiction. I'm betting your "fiction" pile is full by noon. And, the pile that is marked "I think this is what was said, but I'm not sure" fill up even faster.

Miscommunication will be rampant (through either accident or deliberate deceptive means). Ask for clarification if you need to. Write down anything important that you have to remember since our memories will not be recording very accurately today.

Get your big ear out!
With Mercury newly in Gemini, people are talking! I spent a large portion of the afternoon and evening yesterday on the phone. Most of the time, I couldn't get a word in because the other party was so chatty.

Not that I mind. I'm not that chatty anyway (Saturn in Gemini). I have enjoyed listening to the chatter. Unfortunately, what I'm hearing has not all been good news. Its almost as if the Grand Cross and Eclipse came through and planted these little time delay bombs (perhaps the Universe was out of Easter Eggs) and they are going off at different intervals for everyone.

HUGE changes are occurring revealing for some that "life will not be the same as it was before."

Yet, in the midst of these HUGE changes there is also a feeling of stasis or being stuck. I'm blaming this on two things. First, Sun is still waxing into opposition with Saturn and is STILL IN TAURUS---the solid immovable Bull. Plus, Mars is still retrograde. Stories of being stuck in quicksand have probably been the third most prevalent story of late.

Surprisingly and a bit unexpectedly...some people may experience a gathering of old friends (who are more like siblings) that mimics an impromptu high school reunion. Venus is still waxing into square with Pluto. Old friends, lovers, business partners and acquaintances in general are crawling out of the woodwork to reunite with you. Subsequently, the catch up conversations are plentiful.

I'm also hearing a lot of addiction recovery stories with Moon/Neptune in the mix and an opposition from Moon to Chiron waxing in. Or, maybe you'll knock back a few beers with your old buddies and hear (in a rather slurred manner), "I lurrve you, mahhn. You've arlways *hiccup* been like a brother to me" before the day is out.

You are probably going to come across new information from somewhere today. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to decide whether the information is real or bullshit. That should keep you busy and entertained for the majority of the day. Oh and PS, be careful on the roads and when traveling today. Not everyone is drunk (at least I hope not), but Mercury/Neptune is not the most focused aspect in the world. People are distracted for various reasons. And by all means, don't mix self-perpetuated fog (drinking/drugs etc) with operating a car (that means don't drink and drive, in case you missed it)
