Morning Star: Astrology for the week of October 30 to November 4, 2018

Monday, October 29, 2018

This morning the Moon resides in Cancer as Mercury finds Jupiter by conjunction at about 7 AM. That aspect will likely have voices rising this morning. Mercury is officially in his retrograde shadow at this point. So, discussions and statements made now will likely be revisited or reviewed once he stations retrograde. Given that, ensure what you are saying is what you want to say and factual/truthful (unless you want that uncovered when he retrogrades).

The feel of the day is quite emotional. Par for the course with Moon in a water sign, but especially in Cancer as the sign does feel just about everything at its core. Add to that the fact that the Moon will also come into contact with Chiron, Mercury and Jupiter by trine (tomorrow evening at about 7 PM) and you have a lot of emotionally flavored voices rising to the surface or at the very least, undeniable truths rising within each of us.
Problem with all that being, we are sensitive under this Moon. But, Venus is not very satisfied in her current position. As we are sensitive we become increasing uncomfortable as Venus moves forward to oppose Uranus and square the nodal axis.
All that is due to occur as this day moves forward into tomorrow. The Moon will be right in that mix so it is likened to type of discomfort that you simply cannot escape. Once the Moon enters Leo (at almost 11 PM tomorrow night), it may become more than just discomfort and feel more like a blockage that prevents us from moving forward in our own lives. A block to expressing ourselves authentically arises and becomes intolerable. The key is to note it. Single it out. State it clearly and energetically release yourself from it.

At 7:12 PM, the Moon is deep in water trine with Neptune. This is tired. Dreamy. Emotion filled and very sensitive. Intuitive messages are strong but may need to simmer before we suss out the fullness of their meaning. It's a good night for rest and dismissing yourself from external stimulation and chaos in order to regroup. It's a good night to shed tears and flush the emotional body of residual remorse, resentment whatever gunk you find there. It's time to issue forgiveness where appropriate for you and a time to ask for it as well. It's a good time to come to a point of acceptance of the way things are and to begin allowing yourself to dream forward from there.
Mercury trines Chiron at about 10 PM. And, as the night moves forward the Moon opposes Pluto at 3:53 PM. This sets a heavier and, even, perhaps fearful mood for our morning. Don't back down in the face of fear. Power through. We still have the power of the Chariot to guide us. Convert fear to fuel. The Moon remains active through the night. Dreams are likely vivid even if not completely memorable.

Venus finds the nodal axis by square today showing us where the blocks are just before lunchtime. The Moon trines Jupiter and Mercury tonight between 7:30 and 10:30 PM EDT. This is the point where you use your voice to pinpoint the thing, the block, the thing in your way that you need to detach from in order to move forward more authentically. From here, the Moon is briefly Void until entering Leo at 10:42 PM where she is ushered straight into the fixed cross being created by Venus, Uranus and the nodes. She sits on the North Node seeing the potential entrapment and is handed a knife to cut the cord in favor of consciously creating a new type of existence for herself that is more along the lines of what may bring her comfort and satisfaction.
The tension of the fixed cross hangs in the air from the time the Moon clicks on right until about midnight as Mercury leaves the depths of Scorpio and enters the outspoken and the “Truth is the truth whether that is funny or hurtful” sign of Sagittarius. This is where you declare your new vision. Your faith. Your beholden truth.
At 4:46 AM (10/31), Venus opposes Uranus, officially. Make your severance. This is a point where you can turn around and look at the block again declaring “THIS...this is done. And, I'm going to ensure that it is done in my life by taking action that supports that intention.” Any statement you make along those lines is supported energetically by Mercury's passage to Uranus by inconjunct at 5:36 AM while holding tight to Venus by semi-sextile.

This can be further detachment from malefic addiction, habits or relationships that we have deemed unhealthy. But, since we are moving into a week that is full of a sentiment of “honoring the dead or our ancestors” I think it is appropriate to mention something I've learned about that.
One of the best ways to honor the dead or our ancestry is to come to a point of clarity and acceptance about what they were and they mistakes they made. The pain they inflicted or were forced to endure. If you can forgive and accept that...seeing both the vile of their misjudgments and the pain or fear that created them, releasing any resentment or hatred for that while finding a way to replace that ugly with your new found wisdom, releasing the dead from the chains of that karmic guilt while vowing to learn from instead of repeat whatever it is they did or suffered, you can free yourself from huge energetic burdens. When one person successfully does this it alters the karmic burden for the rest of the lineage while healing the pain of guilt or remorse from the ancestor. The healing travels through time and is marked altered inside you. One of the best ways to honor your ancestors is to not let their missteps to occur in vain. To learn from them. And, as they would wish for you, go forth to live a better more authentic life than they did.

Blessed Samhain to you. And Happy Halloween.
The Moon is still active in the sign of Leo this morning as Venus officially passes by Uranus in Taurus at 4:46 AM. As this occurs, Mercury passes by Uranus by inconjunct from his new seat in Sagittarius (while also in retrograde shadow). He then moves on to trine the NN delivering our messages/statements unto our future direction.
Just after midday, we meet with the emotional flush of the Last quarter Moon as the Moon in Leo squares the Sun in Scorpio at about 8 degrees. This is you feeling your place in your lineage as a youthful member of the same. Whether you are 12 or 80 you are the “child” here staring down the karma you have potentially inherited while being given a chance to heal that declaring “better” for yourself and your lineage moving forward.
At 3:42 PM, Venus moves from Scorpio and back into Libra. Once again, we are called to matters of manners, politeness, balance and assessing how we form relationships based on our values and our own level of self worth. If either of those dynamics have changed during Venus' retrograde, it's time to ensure that the change is reflected in how we form relationships.
The Moon remains active through the night in Leo making no major aspect in this night following the Last Quarter.

Thursday, November 1, 2018
We usher October out the door today. Our first day of November brings us the Day of the Dead.
The Moon in Leo opposes Mars in Aquarius at midday which could breed disagreements or simply ambiguity in regard to what we feel we need versus what we feel we “have” to do. Not that Mars in Aquarius likes to be bossed around, mind you. So, take a moment. Remember who you are and what it is you are trying to achieve and make your actions match up to that without allowing someone else to change your mind about it by making you mad or rubbing you the wrong way. Stay true to your course and make your actions precisely align with what you want to create, here.

At 1:29 PM, Jupiter trines Chiron in Pisces. This is healing and a chance at self-exhalation above and beyond the wounding you may have previous denied or the ways in which you may fall prey to conditioning that you were previously not aware of. This is where all the severance and all the forgiveness and understanding from the past few days can pay off tremendously. It is also a point where passing that chance over could make you sick. Either way, Jupiter lights this “hidden” wound up making it rather undeniable at this point. And, it looks quite literal in the sense of being able to raise the dead. You will either feel the healing or the wounding depending upon where you are. It's not too late for healing, by the way, if you are sunk in the pain/sickness. As a matter fact, now that Jupiter has shown you where the wound is, there is no better time to treat it.
I don't see zombies bursting from graves here. But, on an energetic level the ability to raise them, heal them and set them free is wholly possible. Free them. Free yourself. Free us all.
At 11:24 PM, the Moon squares Jupiter in Sagittarius. Whatever we feel grows. If it's good, then it's really good. If it's bad, it's horrid. Adjust your perspective accordingly.

The Moon then moves on to sextile Venus in Libra bringing some ease to the equation before she reaches Void status. This creates a Yod with Chiron in Pisces. Further healing can come from this. Further release. Further forgiveness. More chance to glean understanding and to carry that forward or pass it on. The Moon will remain Void in the sign of Leo until she enters Virgo at 1:47 AM.
As soon as the Moon enters the sign she is waxing into a trine with Uranus in Taurus who, himself, is bearing down in square to the Nodal Axis which is due to perfect at 9:30 in the morning.
Now. The square of Uranus to the nodal axis may bring change that effects the “status quo” in some way. It is something that alters things in a way that they cannot be changed back. All that is due to occur and, frankly, there isn't much that can stop it. On an individual level, we are called to nurse ourselves through it. Accepting the change as it comes. Mourning what may be lost but accepting it that it has occurred. This will allow us to then focus in on what we can do in light of the change and perhaps, even, figure out a way that creates opportunity from it. But, you cannot do any of that if you continue to fight the fact that it has occurred in the first place.
This is SUPER relevant because the change is a non-option here. This aspect with Uranus and the nodes is going to hang as both bodies switch signs (Uranus into Aries and the nodes into Cancer). The pace will pick up with Uranus in Aries and have even deeper emotional themes with the nodes in Cancer. We will move from the slow heart centered gurgling up of Uranus in Taurus and back into the evolution of action, war and Man. The heart has changed. In light of that, our actions moving forward should change. This little largely unnoticed blip of an aspect is going to ensure that. It's endpoint goal being that of evolution and illumination in the most personal parts of each of us by way of influencing Mars and Venus. These are turning points as Hekate holds vigil watching over our actions at these crossroads with the Moon from the sign of Virgo.

Friday, November 2, 2018

Today begins with enforced change as Uranus squares the nodal axis. However, from this point, the Moon in Virgo is waxing toward a trine with Saturn (10:25 AM). Reminding us of the need for boundary. Prompting us toward accountability. Bringing us back around to remember our goals. From there, the Moon moves on to sextile the Sun in Scorpio (7:40 PM) which is such a lovely energy to have. Virgo doesn't shy away from the ugly of the wound that needs to be fixed. And, once Scorpio opens up with discovery of the thing, the illness itself is doomed...which is a good thing. What this does is bring both the elements of Water and Earth into strong mixture and there isn't much the two cannot figure out or fix with proper focus. As an added bonus, if you have anything in mid-degree Aries (looking at you Chiron in Aries peeps) you can focus in on that power by way of a Yod that can sear away or heal anything connected to that placement.

The Moon remains active through the night. She finds Neptune by opposition at 1:31 AM which can shuttle us into a deep healing sleep or have us waking up to the taste of salty tears or literal sickness. Dreams, again, are likely particularly active even if not particularly memorable.

Saturday, October 3, 2018

This morning the Moon is still active in Virgo. She is waxing toward a trine with Pluto in Capricorn that restores emotional resolve and focus not to mention gives us quite a bit of personal “grit” to work with. This stern sense of focus hangs with us through the day allowing us to finish and follow through with anything we may have on our agenda even if that is just taking the day to heal and restore.
There are no major aspects from the Moon again until tonight. She remains active as Venus passes by Chiron in inconjunct (showing how this “wound” affects how we relate to others) at 2:19 PM. Are you a victim shamer or blamer? Do you hold onto veiled racism, sexism or any other crap like that? Because if so? This passage of Venus to Chiron is for you. Good luck continuing to deny that on a personal level. Your sickness is fully revealed here.
The Moon is active as she passes by Chiron by opposition at 1:21 AM. You going to keep trying to shove this under the rug? Or are you going to heal it?
The Moon sextiles Jupiter at 2:26 AM prior to reaching Void status. What is your truth? What is your legacy? Declare it to yourself here.

Sunday, November 4, 2018

This morning the Moon has entered the airy world of Libra which could feel like a bit of a break from the heavy work that we have endured in so far as release and healing in the passing week. It's a good day to gather loved ones around you. To show appreciation where you consider it due.
There is heaviness and accountability along with another call to well set boundary as the Moon squares Saturn in Capricorn at about 1 PM. Remember what is intolerable in relationships. You declared it. Hold yourself to it even if it may not seem “nice” at the time. You are allowed to do this...to set that boundary or draw that line.

Just after that, the Moon is sextile Mercury in Sagittarius. You don't have to shout. Truth has its own volume. You don't have to say anything, actually. Silence can be deafening. And, it was a Sagittarius Sun conjunct Mercury that taught me that fact. If it's conflated bullshit let it hit dead air without the benefit of your reaction. Added bonus...makes the “instigator” in that instance kinda squirmy when all they have to prop themselves up on is the crap that just came out of their mouth echoing in the room.
Our week to come is quite...interesting. We have experienced a lot this week and the week previous. Mercury is now in shadow and residing in a new sign. Venus is finishing her retrograde journey and she too has changed signs. As we move forward in our week to come, Uranus will move back into Aries. Jupiter will move into his home sign of Sagittarius. And, the nodal axis will move into the sign of Cancer. HUGE shifts all around at a rather conspicuous time in the US...and ahead of our New Moon in Scorpio on November 11. The change is here. All we have to do is decide how we are going to approach that and take our first steps in that very direction.
