Morning Star: Astrology for the week of December 27 to January 2, 2016

Sunday, December 27, 2015

This morning, we wake up to the Moon newly in Leo (5:32 AM). It's a rather demure day. The Kitty Cat Moon is prone to seek out comfort and perhaps do a little preening. There are a few minor aspects that trickle throughout our day. But, the first major aspect the Moon will make doesn't come until tonight. She trines Saturn in Sagittarius at 1:19 AM.

This brings waxing stability and a sense of grounding. Solid Earth to stand on along with an ability to be gently productive, should we choose. Mainly, it's a day that many will use to get their feet back underneath them in preparation for the final work week of this year.

Monday, December 28, 2015

Our Leo Moon is in a different kind of mood this morning as she leaves her stable trine with Saturn and begins waxing into trine with Uranus in Aries which perfects at 12:15 PM. We are ready for new experience. The tempo of the day is quick and pointed. We are ready to shake loose any left over emotionality from the holidays. And, believe me, there was plenty to go around. Good or bad, emotions are emotions and today we are quite ready to dry out and step out of nostalgia or whatever else may have swamped us over Christmas.

However, we are still a little squishy due a waxing sextile between the Sun and Neptune which perfects tomorrow morning. What the trine to Uranus may allow us to do is to look at our squishy in a different light. We can hold it away from us a little bit and become inventive with ways in which we might use our squishy to make something creative. We do dry out a bit and are able to detach from the overwhelming influx of water but there are still parts that need to be wrung out. Sun sextile Neptune comes on gently enough (and with enough Earth due the Sun's position in Capricorn) to mold and shape the squishy into something useful.

Overall, the day calls for drying up malingering emotions, re-framing a face that has learned from the experience and imbibing all that with an air of responsibility and creativity not to mention compassion. Inventiveness and experimentation come into play and we are likely a little more physically active than in previous days. However, our energy could be a little scattered and erratic causing us to tire more quickly. Our legs could feel a little wobbly as we try to meet the activity demands. Sun/Neptune can provide the grace to deal with that. At the very least we are a little dreamy and distracted as this sextile waxes in. Don't try to tackle all the things all at once. Engage in one thing at a time while being satisfied that progress is progress no matter how large or small. Then, at the end of the day, don't forget to kick back and relax a little.

Tuesday, December 29, 2015

This morning the Sun does sextile Neptune at 8:18 AM. So, we may have a little grog and fog to deal with on a personal level as we try to drag ourselves out of bed this morning. However, our fiery Leo Moon is prompting us into activity with a sextile of her own to Mars in Libra shortly at 8:34 AM.
Make sure you are fully awake before you go running off into the world, though. There is a mixture of Mars and Mercury energy waxing into the equation (in which the Moon is involved) that can cause us to be accident prone. This is not good given that we are already distracted and groggy due Sun/Neptune.

Mercury in Capricorn squares off with Mars in Libra at 9:53 AM. Then, the Moon squares off with Venus at 12:39 PM. There is an air of discomfort and agitation that can accompany this combination of aspects. With Mars squaring Mercury, we may try to move too quickly or our minds may be racing from topic to topic in a way that we are not fully focused. Or, relationships could be distracting us from work related issues while we are forced to bear in mind what we need to be paying attention to because of the name that signs our paychecks. But, yeah. Clumsy. Distracted and uncomfortable definitely comes to mind today.
Slow down. Think about what you are doing and shield yourself from feeling the crunch of being hurried. Breathe deep and walk slow. Pay attention while you are driving and watch out for others who may not be so engaged. Car accidents, cuts on the hands and broken bones are not that uncommon for Mars and Mercury in harsh aspect. Most will want to grumpily rush about. What we need to do is take it a bit easier on ourselves and slow down to a manageable pace.

Following the square with Venus, the Moon is Void until entering Virgo at 2:00 PM. This movement brings an air of practical diligence into the equation allowing us to triage our tasks at hand. However, weepiness, emotionality and tiredness can also begin to creep in as the day moves further forward given the fact the Moon's very first aspect from the sign of Virgo is an opposition to Neptune at 4:41 AM tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, Venus hangs on to the final degrees of Scorpio before finally stepping into the Sagittarian light at 2:17 AM. Hearts are set to lighten a little and value systems broaden and become more generous as Venus switches signs. She will be a busy lady in Sagittarius. But, tonight, she's only making a grand entrance. We have time before she starts interacting with the big players of Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Chiron during her journey here.

Wednesday, January 30, 2015

The fog of sleep malingers as we try to wake up this morning. The weather has probably been quite wet and foggy most of the week. This morning we can feel that resounding in our emotional bodies under an opposition from the Moon in Virgo to Neptune in our early morning hours (4:41 AM). However, grounding does find us through a nice trine between our Earthy Moon and Sun at 6:30 AM. A hearty good solid breakfast is in order in an effort to give us solid fuel for the day.

The meat of the day is fairly Eeyorish, though, as a square between the Moon and Saturn waxes in at 11:35 AM. We are grumpy gusses and we could be feeling some emotional pressure to perform. Plus, depressive emotions are also possible under Moon/Saturn. Don't wrestle with this too long or too hard. The energy is due to shift in our later evening hours.
By 7:33 PM the Moon has left her square with Saturn and waxes into a rich grounding trine with Pluto in Capricorn giving us the energy to give this day one final push. This is the endurance we've been looking for and we are ready to sink into the deeper pleasures of the night. Most of the day is set at a trudging and grumpy pace. But by the end of the night we have cravings for satiation of deeper more primal desires. And, our power is restored a bit. Take things slow again today. One diligent step at a time while holding strong under the pressure. Being able to look back and see that you actually did accomplish something will help you ease into that yearning for a sense of satisfaction later. Small steps matter. So, keep your eyes on making just a few. Then, tonight, aim for restoration and maybe even a bit of sexual healing to ease you into your nighttime hours. The Moon opposes Chiron at midnight. However, with a good night's rest we are at risk of feeling much better in the morning.

Thursday, December 31, 2015

This morning, the Moon is leaving her opposition with Chiron and waxing into a nice buoyant conjunction with Jupiter at 11:51 AM reminding us that it is time to sweep out this old year in preparation for the new one that is knocking on our door. Under this aspect, though we could feel better, we are fairly inclined to clean something. Isn't there a closet that needs organized or drawers that need their contents sorted? Is it time to take a peak at the 2016 calendar and start penciling in our plans? Yep...that's kind of the air of today. We can feel the New coming and we are inclined to make preparation for it while chucking the final dust of 2015 out the front door.

From the conjunction with Jupiter the Moon waxes into a social trine with Father Time, Mercury in Capricorn, at 12:35 AM. The time to consider your New Year declarations falls under this trine. So is the time to recount and reconsider the finality of 2015. It's also a time for responsible and practical decision making. Following this trine, the Moon is Void until entering Libra at 1:42 AM. If you plan on making New Year's resolutions, I'd save them for the New Moon in Capricorn. The Moon is waning until then and we are still tying up loose ends from 2015 while continuing to sweep out the dust of the year until then. Plus, don't forget that Mercury is in his shadow. He will retrograde soon which means thoughts and conversations embarked on now will likely be revisited and reconsidered in the near future. Leave yourself some room to change your mind.

Friday, January 1, 2016

Happy New Year! The first day of 2016 looks rather relaxed and social. The Moon is in Libra and sextile Venus newly in Sagittarius this morning (7:07 AM). Early morning phone calls bearing wishes for a blessed New Year to our friends and loved ones is a high probability. Or, we could be inclined to finally foster a sense of relaxation and optimism which causes us to indulge a little longer in the pleasures of a comfortable bed. There isn't much pressure to perform this morning. The mood is rather light and social.

This mood carries throughout our Friday. And, perspectives upon the New Year are due to shift under Mercury's movement from dour business minded Capricorn into hopeful and inspired Aquarius. Locations who have seen unseasonably warm weather are likely to be reminded that it really IS winter in their part of the world. Aquarian energy often brings ice and Mercury does have a thing or two to say about the weather. So, prepare for the temperatures to start falling and for the crisp cold air to begin circulating bringing the truth of winter with it.

Our later evening hours do pack a little tension with them as our Last Quarter Moon waxes in at midnight between our Libra Moon and Capricorn Sun at 11 Cardinal 14. Keep sweeping. Keep flushing away the remnants of 2015 and enjoy the heart warmth from the morning as tonight may have a tendency to be bit chillier. As our Last Quarter perfects, so does a stabilizing sextile between the Moon and Saturn in Sagittarius. This grounds us and reminds us to be responsible and accountable in matters of relationships and worldly affairs. Both the Last Quarter and the sextile from the Moon to Saturn bring an air of sobriety and realism with them, though. With Mercury now in Aquarius that realism is crystal clear. We realize it is time to get down to the business of planning out a whole new year and of deciding what it is we may want to do with it.

Saturday, January 2, 2016

Envy and jealousy threaten to wax into our morning as the Moon in Libra squares off with Pluto in Capricorn this morning at 8:24 AM. The better way to handle this deep energy is to sink into the relationships that are the most solid and work to foster stronger and deeper bonds within them. Know, that paranoia and greed can also be factors. So be careful how you swing this and cognizant of the potential as the day moves forward. Desperately trying to control others and constant paranoia and greed in relationships is not a pretty sight. Let go more than you claw to hang on.

Any attempts to control or manipulate in the realm of relationships is going to be met with staunch resistance as the Moon opposes Uranus in Aries at 11:25 PM. So don't get tangled in that mess this morning. Strive to foster interdependent relationships instead of ones that have lopsided power. And, refrain from desperate attempts to keep someone under your control. Cause, that's likely to blow up in your face later. Again. Let go. You own nothing and no one but yourself. Boss that around if you feel froggy but don’t think you have the right to tell anyone else what to do or emotionally coerce them into doing something. And, if this controlling manipulative energy finds you as a target, break free from it under the Moon/Uranus opposition. Nobody needs that shit. Cut the ropes of negative attachment today. That's part of 2015 that malingers and needs to be swept away too.

Know, however, that deep drives and emotions are going to be a thing in tomorrow's sky as both Mars and the Moon move into Scorpio. So, use today's Moon/Pluto aspect to get your gears straight in preparation for that. Following the opposition with Uranus at 11:25 AM, the Moon is Void until entering Scorpio at 2:37 PM tomorrow. So, we've got plenty of time (over 24 hours of VOC Moon) to get our emotional body settled before we plunge the Plutonic depths of Scorpio tomorrow.

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of December 20 to December 26, 2015

Sunday, December 20, 2015

This morning we wake up to the Moon in Aries in opposition to Mars in Libra at 5:51 AM. A slew of minor aspects follow: Moon semi-sextile Neptune at 6:16 AM, inconjunct Jupiter at 6:54 AM, sesquisquare Saturn at 10:36 and Mars also makes a sesquisquare with Neptune at 4:49 PM. These minor aspects fill in the nuances of our day leading up to the Moon reaching Void status at 5:01 PM following a trine with the Sun in Sagittarius.

It looks to be a fairly active morning and the VOC period is short lived. The Moon is re-activated in Taurus at 7:13 PM. Bodies slow tremendously at this time. Many are ready to wrap up the crazy and put it away for the day. However, minds spark throughout this Sunday while tongues are prone to be sharp under a waxing square from Mercury in Capricorn to Uranus in Aries.
Uranus energy is extra prickly this week as he stations to go direct on December 25th. Any planetary contact with him will be extra-electrified. So, even if our emotional body settles a bit under a Taurus Moon...all things Mercury are due to go a bit haywire under his square to the Lightning God. This is a mark of anxiousness and haywire electronics. We could even be looking at the potential for power outages under this square. On a mundane level, we are just antsy and our minds are racing with the things we need to get done or just racing in general. Verbal exchanges are short and not very sweet.
Well grounded, however, and this energy is pure genius...or madness, depending on your perspective. Personal illumination is entirely possible but it may come in harshly. This square perfects at 10:08 PM and could make for one of those “tossing turning can't shut your brain down” kind of nights.

Monday, December 21, 2015

We are a bit groggy this morning as we wake up under a sextile from the Taurus Moon to Neptune at 7:31 AM. We would rather linger in dream than face this Monday especially since we may have had trouble getting to sleep last night. We could also be experiencing some hurt feelings following the harsh and abrupt conversations that occurred under Mercury square Uranus as Mercury now finds Chiron by sextile at 8:39 AM.

By 7:53 PM the Moon in Taurus is strengthened and restored by a trine from Pluto. A sense of resolve waxes over our collective emotional bodies. Things may be tough, but our emotional endurance returns with a realization that everything is going to be long as we can have one more piece of that rich dark chocolatey dessert. Energy shifts from a focus on the cerebral to a focus on the visceral. It's time to come out of your head and re-enter your body while treating it extra well. You deserve it.
Today, in the Northern Hemisphere, holds the shortest amount of daytime hours. After today, the solstice, the daylight hours begin to slowly grow. The Sun, the light, begins to return and push back the darkness a few minutes at a time. The Sun enters Capricorn at 11:48 PM.

At midnight, the Moon checks in with Chiron in Pisces by sextile. We are ready to retreat to our caves and lick our wounds while snuggling down from some much needed rest. You may even feel prompted to pay homage to your bed. I'd suggest dressing it in freshly washed sheets...your favorite set ..and perhaps even sprinkling a little lavender scented something over your pillow or around your room. Adorn your body with soft lotions and maybe slip into your favorite and most comfortable PJ's. Cherish your ability to lavish yourself, if you are able. Sometimes, it is the ability to lean into the simple comforts that is the best. Lately I've delighted in being able to retreat to the comforts of my bed saying semi-sarcastically and semi-absolutely seriously, “Oh Bed! I cannot believe I ever left you! Tis only the promise that I might return to you and snuggle back into your snuggliness that ever prompted me to do so. Oh, how I've missed you!” No, my husband doesn't think I'm crazy. Well, not over this anyway. He is a Taurus Moon and I am a Pisces Moon...we both love the comfort of our bed and the shelter from the crazy of the outside world that our shared room provides. Treat your sleeping quarters as a comforting shelter.

Tuesday, December 22, 2015

This morning the Moon is in opposition to Venus in Scorpio at 5:37 AM. The promise of donuts, sweet French Toast or pastries may just lure us out of our sleeping sanctuary. We are definitely inclined to have something for breakfast. The belly growls and demands satiation. Without that temptation to lure us, we may just linger a bit longer.

By 9:27 AM the Moon is in trine with Jupiter in Virgo. The emotional body becomes more practical and settled. That tends to happen after a good night's rest. But, optimism threatens to return to our world. That optimism is fostered by a sense of gratitude. Delight in the simple blessings and recognize where you have room to share. Hugs are greatly appreciated under this sky as are sincere wishes to one another for brighter days.

Following the trine with Jupiter, the Moon is Void until entering Gemini at 9:32 PM. It's a subtle and subdued day emotionally. The lights on the Moon go out on a good note (trine to Jupiter). Most folks will find a sense of satisfaction in that. Plus, with a Void Moon in Taurus, we can eat whatever we want and nothing will come of the calories, right? Well, not really. But, we can pretend. Go ahead, sneak a piece of fudge or a few cookies...Santa won't even notice.

Wednesday, December 23, 2015

It's a groggy, foggy and potential wet morning as we wake under a square from the Moon in Gemini to Neptune in Pisces perfecting at 9:55 AM. This is what I call a “turn around” morning. One in which I leave for the day and have to “turn around” and go back home because I've forgotten my phone. Or I don't even make it to the car because I have to “turn around” and retrieve my forgotten keys. We are forgetful, unfocused and potentially distracted. Plus, if we over-indulged last night we could end up with a belly ache or a hangover. Nausea is possible as are tears. Nurturing from the outside world could be non-existent and loneliness or a need to isolate could be a factors.

Things get a little more solid but not much more joyful as the Moon meets Saturn by opposition at 2:46 PM. For some, this is the last work day before a holiday break. As the moon meets Saturn, we will likely feel that the hours are dragging by. Keep yourself busy doing something to help time along a bit and provide yourself with a bit of satisfaction by leaving the day colored with a little productivity.
Overnight, the Moon checks in with a quivering Uranus at 1:28 AM. This could manifest as a call in the middle of the night, restless minds, electronic problems or that catalyzing “aha!” moment we've been waiting for. Illumination can pierce through the darkness and jolt us right out of bed. I gotta tell you though, when Uranus is stationing he is grumpy...not that he is the nicest guy in our planetary set up anyway. But at a station point, he can be a real asshole. Don't let his jittery cold energy overtake you. Yes, Virginia, I just called Uranus an asshole.

Thursday, December 24, 2015

This morning we wake up to a nice sextile between Venus in Scorpio and Jupiter in Virgo. Deep heartfelt exchanges wrapped up in a handmade bow set the benchmark for the day. Give deeply from your heart instead of your pocketbook. This aspect brightens our morning at 5:03 AM. Gentle generosity is the call of the morning. Santa and Mrs. Claus may even be snuggling extra tightly this morning as they get in a few last kisses before Santa is due to jet off on a trip around the world. Santa's little helpers may inclined to the same this morning. After all, mornings need lovin too.

By noon, the Moon in Gemini squares off with Jupiter in Virgo. If we started the morning of right, we could feel rather good. But, also, this aspect can have us rushing around trying to get every where to see everyone or at the very least addressing all the last minute items on our checklists. Spread a little joy instead of stressing over every last minute detail. Touch base with friends and realize it is YOU that they adore more than whatever it is you have or don't have wrapped up for them under your tree. Let them know the same. Focus on merriment and cheer spreading instead of over-blown expectation and holiday pressures. However, I do suggest that if you have things you need to pick up at the grocery in preparation for the incoming Cancer Moon that you do so. Lots of places will be closing early today and you don't want to be caught under a Cancer Moon without all the ingredients for a hearty home cooked meal.

The air of socialization continues as the Moon meets Mars in Libra by trine at 3:05 PM. Gather everyone up. Bury the hatchet (preferably in the ground, not someone's forehead). Relax and converse. Come together as a team to put those “easy assembly” toys together and help Santa out. Have some eggnog while you flip the directions over and over trying to figure out how it is you are supposed to fit peg A into slot B. Even if you are not celebrating the holidays, it's still a good night to gather friends around. They feel a lot like family today and their company is likely welcomed.
Following the trine to Mars, the Moon is Void until entering Cancer at midnight.

Friday, December 25, 2015

This morning, we wake up to a blossoming Full Moon in Cancer at 6:13 AM. We have a strong desire for that comfortable feeling of “home.” Also, this is the Full Wolf Moon meaning we may be inclined to be extra protective of our shelter and core family. We want everyone to feel safe and nurtured. Especially ourselves. So, make it so.

After emotionality crests, the Moon finds Neptune by trine at 1:18 PM. Emotions and imaginations swirl. Music can set the tone for your mood so if you need to switch things up, turn on something a bit more soothing or upbeat. Plus, partaking in a little holiday wine at mid-evening might not be such a bad idea. I don't know about the rest of you, but overall for me, this has been a stressful holiday season. I may be passed out in my Santa hat with a lingering wafting of sangria coming from my breath by this time. Naps are not illegal and midday on this day provides a sweet opportunity for one.

By 3:19 PM messages of generosity and appreciation wax into our awareness along with some big ideas about the future under a trine from Mercury in Capricorn to Jupiter in Virgo. We are already looking ahead to the New Year ready to sweep this one right out the door.
Be wary, though, overnight the Moon does oppose Pluto and square Uranus (who officially stationed direct at 9:26 PM). It could be a shaky restless night at best. Full Moon? Old family issues that the holidays have a tendency to dredge up. Uranus all grumpy because he has to switch directions? Yep. Could be an itchy twitchy on edge kind of night for some. The opposition to Pluto waxes in at 2:22 AM while the square to Uranus occurs early in the morning at 5:23 AM. Your holiday lighting may be beautiful, but make sure the candles are blown out and the lights are unplugged before you try to turn in for the night. Unplug any excess “holiday guilt” you may have too. Let that shit go. Release negative attachment. Full Moons are great for that anyway.

Our Full Moon this morning falls under the following Sabians:

For the Sun at 4 Capricorn: Merry-makers embark in a big canoe on a lantern lit lake. Externalization through individuals of the collective urges of the race. Foolish love for pleasure. Exploitation of self.

For the Moon at 4 Cancer: A hungry cat argues with a mouse, before eating her. The urge to self-justification through intellectual sophistry or social-ethical considerations. Sense of self-righteousness.

Shelter yourself and your brood. Eat well. Retreat from the outer world's madness and don't waste precious times with loved ones fighting over things you are never going to agree on. If you don't have one of those “Pie Face” games, grab yourself a disposable pie tin and fill it full of whipped cream. If someone brings up politics, religion or some other catalyzing topic they win the pie in their face. I'm only semi-joking with this. Oh, and there can be more than one winner. Those little tins ARE refillable. I'd suggest putting that pie tin right in the middle of the kitchen table spread and let everyone know, “The first one of you that starts with something is getting it.” Folks do have a tendency to regress into childhood roles and attitudes when put back into their place in the family tree. Go with the child-like regression in regard to playfulness, but ditch the gunk you are still trying to cope with from surviving your childhood. A sense of nostalgia will be high for better or worse. Lighten up and release your cares while delivering onto yourself whatever it is you need to find comfort. Also, remember the underscore is spreading and indulging in joy not force feeding someone your views on...whatever. Have some dessert instead. Let them eat cake.

With Uranus stationing, folks may be reactive today. But, you can deal with that if you can rise above it. And if you can't rise above it, just keep stuffing your face full to keep your tongue busy.

Saturday, December 26, 2015

Saturday morning comes in with a swirling sea of emotional aspects. The first a square to Uranus that at its worst can feel like a panic attack. Yay! Good morning! Many will be ready to clean up the mess that was Christmas and start shuffling things about in preparation for the incoming New Year.
We shelter in place and address our malingering wounds under a trine from the Moon to Chiron at 6:44 AM. Then, as the day progresses, we start to feel a bit of relief under a sextile from the Moon to Jupiter at 4:52 PM. Count the blessings from the year instead of focusing on all the other stuff.

Unfortunately, conflict and angst have the potential to sneak back into our spheres as the Moon opposes Mercury at 7:22 PM and then squares off with Mars in Libra at 9:58 PM. There's a mess and we want someone else to clean it up. Or, in our heightened emotionality and post-holiday washout those issues we avoided talking about yesterday creep out of the woodwork. The outlet for this tension filled t-square lies in Aries. Aries' ruler is in Libra so PLAY NICE and BE FAIR. Don't get in a competition of words or allow yourself to devolve into poking at the buttons of others. Mind your own business and keep yourself in check. And, don't allow yourself to be poked at either. Take the reigns on disallowing that to happen. Turn off the phone. Unplug early and, remember, don't spend time worrying over what can be put off until tomorrow. If you want to argue over words, pull out the Scrabble game. Otherwise, conflict avoidance (for the sake of your own sanity) is highly indicated.

By 10:37 PM we are ready to retreat into the darkness of our caves and relax due a trine from the Moon in Cancer to Venus in Scorpio. We know who we can trust now. We know who has our backs and who doesn't. Rest easy with that knowledge and sink into the security of it. Cling to those who want you to cling and let everyone else go. Sneak in an extra piece of dark rich leftover goodness before you seek hibernation. And, if you have someone to snuggle with, then snuggle up tight. Realize how fortunate you are to be in such a position. Following the trine with Venus, the Moon is Void until entering Leo at 5:32 AM tomorrow.

Morning Star: Astrology for the Week of December 13 to December 19, 2015

Sunday, December 13, 2015

Early this morning (4:04 AM), the Moon in Capricorn met up with the Lord of the Underworld. Dreams could have held shadows, become nightmarish or revealed information from the deepest wells of our subconscious. By 8:03 AM, we find the Moon in square to Uranus in Aries sparking many out of bed early for a Sunday. Shortly after, she finds Chiron in Pisces by sextile (8:48 AM).

As the day moves forward, the potential for ambiguity waxes in with a Lunar square to Mars in Libra at (10:48 AM). This brings a struggle between leisure and the desire for socialization against responsibility. Our chores are important but so is our need for rest. Balance them out. Of course, Mars in Libra could have us procrastinating on both for so long that we don't end up engaging in anything until it's too late.
At the end of the Moon's travels through Capricorn, she meets Jupiter in Virgo by trine. The work we did accomplish brings a sense of satisfaction and pride. Or, the time spent in relaxation and with friends has helped us feel more stable and joyful. From here, the Moon is Void until entering Aquarius at 7:59 AM tomorrow.

Monday, December 14, 2015

This morning the Moon is VOC until entering Aquarius. From here, the Sun begins waxing into square with Jupiter in Virgo at 10:03 AM. The negative end of that is a series of over-blown egos, self-righteousness, boasting and self-importance. Folks could come on strong. On the positive end, when Jupiter in Virgo is expressed at it's highest, humility mixes with generosity while practical wisdom overlays a propensity for warmth.
Mercury in Capricorn is also waxing into a sextile with Neptune (2:40 PM). This softens Capricorn's typically harsh speech and brings compassion to leadership. Lies as well as making dreamy plans for the future are also indicated. It's a good day for creative thinking and good music to keep the work in harmonious flow.

Know forgetfulness could be a thing. Keys may be lost. Cell phones dropped in water...that sort of thing. Minds are a little unfocused and time may seem to drag slowly by.
At midnight, the Moon is in sextile to her traditional ruler, Saturn giving us stable emotional ground to rest our heads for the night.

Tuesday, December 15, 2015

This morning, our Aquarian Moon is in square to Venus in Scorpio. Our logical vulcan-like emotions do not understand the deep attachment we have to our possessions, values and loved ones. Love and deep desire typically have no logical explanation and this does not sit well in our emotional body today. This configuration also allows us to detach a bit from our obsessions giving them less power over us. Temptations and seductive attempts have less impact today. Unhealthy and consuming passions along with our of obsession to control and keep these things makes no sense to this Moon. We didn't own the thing to begin with. We are all free, says the Aquarian Moon. At the very least, this lunar movement could find it hard to foster a sense of comfort. There's a pea under your mattress or we can't sit our in favorite chair...that sort of thing.

Shortly after mid-day (1:20 PM), the Moon finds Uranus in Aries by sextile and our motors rev just a little. We are able to detach from more uncomfortable situations and look toward new and experimental concepts. Friends are a welcomed and we are inclined to engage in progressive or socially conscious group activities.
That energy continues as the Moon finds Mars in Libra by trine at 6:24 PM. Overall, it looks like a pretty arid day. Conversations flow. Ideas are birthed and exchanged. Collaborations are highlighted and intelligent dialogue addresses current issues. Plus, on a less serious note, it's a good evening spent with friends for light conversation and socialization without a lot of emotional pressure.

Things could even get a bit adventurous if the party continues into the wee hours of the morning. The Moon meets the Sagittarian Sun at 2:17 AM. Late night socialization on a school night? For shame! LOL! Grab your good times when you can, folks.
From here, the Moon is Void until entering Pisces at 12:45 PM tomorrow.

Wednesday, December 16, 2015

The Moon in Aquarius if Void all morning. This makes it hard for us to “get into” whatever it is we have ahead of us early in the day. We just kind of robotic-ally go through the motions.
At 12:45 PM the Moon enters Pisces which certainly doesn't increase our motivations but, instead, brings a strong emotional component back into our sphere.

The rest of the day the Moon waxes toward a conjunction with Neptune. We are tired. Emotionally sensitive. Maybe even weepy or emotionally foggy. Forgetfulness, again, comes into play as well as the possibility for confusion and lethargy. This conjunction occurs at 1:20 AM. We likely sleep deeply and maybe even go to bed early tonight.

Thursday, December 17, 2015

Waking up following a Moon/Neptune conjunction is not easy. However, responsibility is calling as the Moon squares off with Saturn at 5:14 AM. We begrudgingly pull our grouchy selves out of bed and enter the day. Afterall, we need to go to work in order to better ensure our finances so sayeth a trine from Venus in Scorpio to Pluto in Capricorn. It's time to mine the diamonds and build upon our resources. This is good energy to be responsible in matters of love and money. Pay your debts and send out your invoices for money owed to you. Plus, strong and loyal support can be found in our most trusted relationships at this time. Intimacy grows and if you play your cards right, so could the numbers in your bank account. Stick to your budget and spend responsibly. Keep your ears open for news about current economical matters especially those that deal with the IRS. It's also a good time to get a jump start on your Temptation becomes an emotional the way.

At 8:25 AM the Moon is in sextile to Mercury in Capricorn. Our speech is affected by our Mood. And the information we consume, in turn, affects how we feel. Creative plans can be delineated into practical steps. You may discover that dream you have can be achieved with planning and a bit of hard work.
By mid-evening (1:58 PM) the Moon is fortified, grounded, strengthened and deepened by a sextile to Pluto in Capricorn. Emotions run deep and we find deeper meaning in whatever we are trying to rebuild or newly construct. This is followed by a deep sense of satisfaction as the Moon finds Venus in Scorpio by trine at 2:40 PM.

It was hard enough to get out of bed this morning. We toiled in the midst of the day. Isn't it time for a break and bit of reward for our ambitions? Indeed it is time to begin putting away our work toils and prepare to embark upon a bit of relaxation. While in the process of doing so, protect and be wary of your triggers and the potential for emotional leakage as the Moon finds Chiron by conjunction at 6:23 PM. Look to soothe your aches with gentle loving care while refraining from blowing emotional situation out of proportion as the Moon waxes toward an opposition with Jupiter (3:42 AM). Aim to feel better instead of worse. Because Pisces Moon's are so sensitive they do feel certain emotions more acutely than any other type of Moon. Mainly because they not only bear the impact of their own emotions but often are afflicted by the emotional nature of others for better or worse. Try to look on the bright side and look at things from a wide and practical perspective. Don't allow yourself to get “sucked in” to emotional matters that, in reality, have very little to do with you.

Today we experience our First Quarter Moon at 10:15 AM. This pits tension against our Pisces emotional body and our Sagittarian egos. What is it that conflict between these two? Religion vs Spirituality? Knowledge versus the unknown or misunderstood? Wisdom versus compassion? Adventurous travels versus the need for a nap?
Pisces and Sagittarius do answer to a common traditional ruler, Jupiter. So, perspective, practicality and an aim toward the service of others with generosity pleases both signs. This is also good energy to dream or foster creative vision toward the future.

The First Quarter (which can at times create a sense of emotional crisis) occurs at 26 Pisces/Sagittarius 22 with the following Sabians:

Sabian for the Sun at 27 Sagittarius: The sculptor's vision is taking form under his hands. Mastery of formative intelligence over substance. Sure characterization and understanding. Permanent expression.

Sabian for the Moon at 27 Pisces: The harvest moon rises in translucent autumnal skies. The power of creative visualization by which great Dreamers transcend outer reality. Complete dominance of circumstance.

Bring form to your dreams. Construct YOUR OWN reality and allow that which pulls your ship under to dissolve and disappear. From here, the Moon is VOC until entering Aries at 4:27 PM...calling the “dreamers” to wake up and get moving. The Moon then begins waxing into trine with Saturn in Sagittarius bringing emotions to ground and calling us to take responsible and diligent steps forward. Put your creative plans/dreams (and the intentions you set under the New Moon) into practical application. It's time to get started. That “push” deepens under tomorrow's sky.

Saturday, December 19, 2015

Our Aries Moon is hungry today. Be sure to feed the warrior well. And, also be observant of the potential paranoia that can accompany our Mercury/Pluto conjunction at 1:54 PM. Some may find themselves cursing like a sailor while others are delivering staunch orders in leadership leaving those receiving the order little option. A warrior must answer to his commander even if he is unsure of the entire agenda. If there is trust between worker and leadership, this task is less taxing. However, if employees are suspicious they are less likely to accept orders unless they know the whole plan.
It's a good idea to research what you are asked to be engaged in by the powers that be. Emotional control could be a factor as the Moon also squares off with Pluto at 5:19 PM.

With this set up, some of our deepest emotional fears may come to the surface. The best use of this energy is to be brave enough to face that potential and to begin preparing back up plans in the event they do manifest. However, the energy can be quite forceful and have subservient motive.
There is a chance to hear powerful speeches from leadership today. Ones that demand order in the ranks or even one's that expose problems that need to be addressed in an effort to keep the entire organization from crumbling. Some will be grasping at straws and fighting to maintain the status quo while others will be ready for change and excavation.
With the potential for force also comes the strength. There is a strong sense of resolve in this day. The problem with that is when your resolve goes head to head with the resolve of another. Stand your ground but don't discount the importance of being proactive in analyzing the psychological concepts being brought forth from both yourself and others.

Either way, conversations are anything but light and emotions are highly effected by this fact as the Moon squares off with Mercury at 5:42 PM. We could be inclined to grit our teeth at times. And, believe it or not, long held secrets could actually emerge quite quickly today. Make sure your mind is not cluttered with paranoia and greed as you make plans to engage and be wary of the potential for injury (specifically broken bones and maybe even a few knocked out teeth) if engaging in athletics or sports. Car accidents could be quite deadly under this sky. So be sure your attention is engaged acutely. Focus is certainly accessible.
At the end of the day, we are done with being bossed around, told how to feel and told how to think. We are ready to bust loose from those shackles and opt for taking action of our own accord...independently. Have you ever heard that song, “Take this job and shove it” or seen the movie Falling Down? Because both these media concepts come to mind under the energy of this sky. Or, do you remember the part in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation where the crazy cousin kidnaps Mr. Griswold's boss because he shorted them on their Christmas bonus? Yeah..crazy impulsive revolts like that are entirely possible.

Instead of leaning toward impulsiveness, breathe through the adrenaline surge and rise above the immediacy of the situation. Bear in mind the long term effects of your actions and don't be afraid to step out of your place as a cog in the wheel if you discover that is what is best for you. In the most mundane, be willing to try something new. Be inventive in your engaging approach and experiment with new ways to handle folks who try to control your mind or emotions. That new way may be to simply tell them to “fuck off” for some. For the Uranian-inclined like myself, this is pretty much old hat. I do caution you against pre-emptively blowing things up if you begin feeling the prickly anticipation brought forth by Moon/Uranus. Anxiety could be a thing. Don't respond in and emergent manner to something that is truly not an emergency. Reducing your intake of stimulants around midday will help quell the chance for anxiousness in the evening.

Morning Star: Astrology for the Week of December 6 to December 12, 2015

Sunday, December 6, 2015

Today is quite fiery, to put it mildly. We are kick started by an energetic sextile from the Sun in Sagittarius to Mars in Libra at 5:14 AM. By 3:45 PM, Mars is in square to Pluto in Capricorn at 14 Libra/Capricorn 11.
Mars and Pluto mixed together in harsh aspect is often not pretty. It is powerful. But, it's a type of dangerous power that should not be left unchecked. At it's worst, we are seething for vengeance and in danger of being burned up by our own fire. Attacks and violence are quite possible under this sky. Yet, there is also a strong pull toward survival. Successful counter attacks are also entirely possible.

The best use of this energy has us deeply assessing our motivations. Who/what is driving our bus? And, why or to what end? The sabians for this closing square in our Mars/Pluto cycle are as follows:
For Pluto at 15 Degrees Capricorn: In a hospital, a children's ward is filled with playthings. The goodness of life in the tragic trials of first attempts at self-regeneration. Administered responsibility; or escape.
For Mars at 15 Libra: A stack of machinery parts; all are new and all circular. Perfect and effortless participation in the universal order. Smooth approach to self-expression; inert self-satisfaction.
As violent and as seething as this energy has the potential to be, it can also be quite supportive of tremendous physical healing efforts. But, yes, it is dangerous and, yes, it is hard to wrangle deliberately so be careful out there. Your best bet is to physically move around and work to expel some of this physical energy on purpose and deliberately. Mars/Pluto can also be quite masochistic (violent seething energy turned inward instead of projected outward). Be wary of the ways in which you may inflict harm upon yourself and instead, work to become your strongest and most formidable ally. The highest expression of this energy is to aim toward self-control. No matter what anyone else does, be the boss of how your energy is expelled and refrain from allowing someone or something to cause you to blow your life to smithereens. Keep your priority in check and engage the far reaching vision of an Eagle to focus this tremendous power toward your benefit rather than your demise. It's hard. But, it is entirely possible. It is the same exact energy used with and on purpose.

Yesterday, as the Moon passed through this configuration linking it up early, I found I had a voracious appetite. So, suffice to say, if you plan on being physically active, be sure to fill your body with fuel that supports such so that you don't crash later. Protein is definitely a must.
In the meantime, I wouldn't suggest pushing other people's buttons today or walking around with your own chip on your shoulder. Folks are likely to be highly reactive and so may you be. Over-reaction is entirely possible. There is a certain amount of pressure that comes with this square. How folks choose to relieve that pressure will vary. Some will opt for not so lovely means. Violence. Outwardly or inwardly destructive means. I suggest consensual sex, tai-chi, karate, practice of any of the martial arts, yoga, exercise that makes you sweat or activity that does the same. Anything that calls you to focus on your actions in a controlled and precise manner is good. A brisk walk to forage/hunt in the woods could also do the trick. Today is a great day for late season wild crafting and putting rich fertilizer on the soil you plan to plant in next year. Focus of this energy is required in order to expend it at it's highest vibration. The strength to do so will be there, but you've got to choose it. Otherwise, it plays out all by itself, typically taking the path of least resistance. This energy unchecked is not a good thing for anyone. It can be hungry, blood-thirsty and, as I've said, downright dangerous. So, be hyper-aware of what you are doing, of your environment and the actions of others especially if you have to be out in public today. Battles embarked upon today will be bloody. If you don't have to be out and about, thank your lucky stars; then, find something productive you can do at home. This is also a good day for banishing self-destructive habits...smoking or other addictions, poor eating habits, paranoia, seething, ineffective coping mechanisms, obsessions, demons...all of that. Look for the ways you are slowly killing yourself and banish those habits from your future. It is a great day for detoxification efforts.

By 9:04 PM, the mind is a busy place as the Moon finds Mercury in Sagittarius by sextile. From here, the Moon is Void until plunging into Scorpio in the morning.

Monday, December 7, 2015

This morning we awaken to the Moon in the depths of Scorpio. She finds Venus at midday which speaks of the potential of a sense of deep satisfaction or the emergence of the forlorn lover or ex-lover. I suggest indulging in deep, dark, rich chocolate instead of pining over love's loss or stalking down ex-participants in your love life. Desire and yearning are strong. Cravings likely are too. The ability to control these desires is present, however. The ability to finally let something/someone go for good...releasing/severing a negative also present. There may also be a strong desire to spend and potentially to go into debt. On the other side of the fence, it's also a good day to pay off debt. It's all in how you steer the energy which, again, is best done on purpose. We have a choice to feed the cancer or cut out the source of it.

Know that the potential to run into the remnants of relationships past is high. Don't let that throw you off your current track. To put it simply, reasonably satiate your cravings and desires without becoming a glutton or a creepy stalker. Figure out the root of your desires and work to foster a deeper sense of intimacy in your relationships. Also, there is tremendous sexual attraction with this placement. Be careful where you point that. And, be careful what you allow yourself to be enchanted by.

Later tonight, the Moon finds Neptune by trine (8:41 PM). The energy softens further and we may be ready to turn in early for the night. Intuition and instinct are both running very high today. Don't ignore the calls of either. Then, tonight, be ready for relaxation and rest. Know that Moon trine Neptune can produce tears. If they come, let them flow. Don't try to dam them up. Purge the dirty water instead of allowing it to stagnate.

Tuesday, December 8, 2015

This morning, the Moon moves away from her trine with Neptune and toward a sextile with her current ruler, Pluto (10:50 AM). There is a lot of power in this aspect. Enough to restore us to a state in which we are ready to get up and give “it” another go. Emotions are strong, deep, stable and focused. Lots of folks will be prone to soul searching rather deep matters. They are likely to be tight lipped about this, for now.

Next, the Moon finds Chiron in Pisces by trine which can cause eye leakage, remorse, emotional reactions to triggers, and illness flare ups on the more negative side. But, it can also provide energy that allows us to research and soothe these triggers if we are brave enough to face/explore them. Not easy, but worthy.
All the while, the Sun waxes into trine with Uranus. This perfects at 9:38 PM. It's a good day to experiment with something new and work to foster a stronger sense of personal freedom. With the week's previous seething and stalking set up, this trine helps us break loose from some of those devilish chains and opt for change and independence from such. It's a good day to celebrate your uniqueness while subsequently fostering an appreciation for the uniqueness in others. It's also a day to break with malefic dependencies. Collaborations among progressive social groups is highlighted. So, is contact with your friends and perhaps even celebrations amongst the same. There is opportunity for impulsiveness and even a bit of radicalism. Keep the best interests of the collective and remain socially conscious in all your actions. Don't be afraid to be different or unique and DEFINITELY don't be afraid to think for yourself breaking free from the chains of media that seem to decide what most folks choose to think about. I don't like being told what to focus on and what I should hold at priority. And, no one is really going to enjoy being told what to do or think today. We all foster a bit of a wild, untamed and shameless (maybe even a bit “in your face”) attitude. Lean into and incorporate positive change and pioneer uncharted territory within your own life. It's time to do things differently and in a way that allows you more free personal expression instead of remaining in the shackles of the past. It's a day to shake things up.

Overnight, the Moon in Scorpio finds Jupiter in Virgo by sextile (1:40 AM). Your dreams may hold practical advice or your adventures of the day bring buoyancy back to your emotional body. If you leaned into fostering a stronger sense of personal freedom, you may feel pretty good about it as you lay your head down to sleep tonight. However, if you tried something new and failed, don't pick yourself apart over it. We shall live to try again another day. And, if we don't, then it won't really matter so much, will it? Use any potential failures as a learning experience instead of just beating yourself up for not succeeding the first time. Remain optimistic and willing to try again. From here, the Moon is Void until entering Sagittarius at 5:26 PM tomorrow.

Wednesday, December 9, 2015

It's a relatively quiet and subdued day with the Moon VOC for the largest part of it. The Sun lingers in square to Chiron an aspect that perfected at 5:03 AM this morning. But, with the Void Moon, we are given the opportunity to stare into these elusive and often denied collective and individual pains, sicknesses and delusions. They run the gamut from addiction, to delusion, to spiritual dysfunction, to rejection of accepting the world's people as part of a larger organ/dynamic and even personal illness caused by emotional factors or fostered through the continual poisoning of our environment. No light matters. But, without emotional involvement, we can explore and research these entities dispassionately and logically.
Overall, many are toiling in this day as things go rather routinely allowing us to pontificate deeper matters without a lot of ruckus.

The Moon wakes up in Sagittarius at 5:26 PM. We are on our way to a New Moon. This occurs when the Moon catches up with the Sun in the early morning hours of (5:31 AM) December 11th at 19 Sagittarius 03. From now until then, the Moon wanes and grows darker by the minute. We are called to let go, relinquish, complete a final emotional flush before embarking on this new emotional journey. A good physical way to meet these demands is to clear out and declutter. As above, so below. And as within, so without. As you clean and organize your physical space, this echoes in your personal system as things begin to be sorted out and expelled from the inside out. Donating items you do not use or no longer need to charitable foundations is a good exercise of this energy. Helping those who are suffering is another, especially in the late evening. Just don't forget charity begins at home. Treat yourself charitably and you will be more able to treat others in this manner too.

At 9:35 PM, our mental bodies find grounding, responsibility and fortitude as Mercury shifts from Sagittarius to Capricorn. Planning for the future is indicated. Leadership qualities in the realms of communication are of great benefit. So is being sure you are saying exactly what you mean and mean exactly what you say. Delineating deliberate steps forward and purposely directing our brains toward a well defined goal is highlighted. Start making those plans and be prepared to set your intention for the same under our incoming New Moon. Thoughts can become quite heavy and dour under Mercury influenced by Saturn. In order to refrain from becoming a victim of that, be responsible for the impact of what you say, take conscious steerage of your brain, be conscientious about what information you are feeding yourself and look to factual evidence instead of just taking information at face value. Know that conversations can become harsh, serious and curt.

Thursday, December 9, 2015

This morning we are lingering in bed not wanting to get up. The Moon is square to Neptune at 7:07 AM. The weather is likely dreary in many areas and the morning starts out gray and foggy at best. The emotional body is very, very sensitive right now. People can be quite emotive. There is a high chance of depression and overall grouchiness today.
The Moon is also waxing into a conjunction with Saturn which perfects at 10:04 AM, so the ability to maintain proper boundary and grounding is accessible. I suggest you use that. Recognition and subsequent acceptance of reality is very key. Channel more swamping emotional energy into a creative and tangible form. Be wary of what you expose yourself to and be the responsible warden of your emotional body. Shore the holes up in your boat or it could be overtaken by an influx of water. Be compassionate but maintain an air of common sense and personal responsibility. Aim to help, not enable. It is, indeed, a good day for gentle charitable efforts. If you find yourself in a funk, do whatever you need to do to pull yourself out of it. Make no excuse in delivering onto yourself whatever type of personal care you need. You cannot pour from an empty cup.

At 8:31 PM, Mars in Libra opposes Uranus in Aries. Any effort you put into deliberate steerage of your emotional body early in the day is really going to bear importance as this aspect waxes in. There is potential for disagreements and arguments amongst friends and colleagues and the potential for impulsive and radical action across the board. The best way to wrangle this energy is to balance out the two extremes. Be willing to come together (Mars in Libra) in collaboration in an effort to foster new paths forward in our troubled world (Uranus in Aries). The negative pole has us reacting wildly without consideration of the consequences. Yet, again, if you've worked on your boundaries and shored up your boat, then the actions of someone else are less likely to cause you to do something you may regret.
My advice is to definitely steer clear of putting an excessive amount of stimulants into your body. Things of this nature are going to react much more strongly within your personal chemistry due the Moon's square to Neptune. Your better bet is to opt for clean water to drink instead of downing 3 or 4 pots of coffee in an effort to thwart the potential lethargy brought on by Neptune this morning. Though, know it is going to be tempting because grog and slog is certainly found in our early morning hours. But, as the day moves forward and our bodies are continually intoxicated and made all a jitter by this energy, we will subsequently be more prone to the potential reactiveness of Mars/Uranus if we are over-stimulated. Be willing to ground that re-activeness in such a way that you can respond appropriately instead of just popping off like a crazy person. However, know that not everyone is going to do this and many will be quite reactive. Again. Boundaries are very important under this sky. Don't let someone else's radical bullshit become an excuse for you to become full of radical bullshit yourself. That's a sideways method of allowing someone else to control your actions which is never a good idea. Think, act and feel of your accord. If that means you need to discharge yourself from a situation, then don't hesitate to do so.

This energy also provides the ability to respond quickly and precisely to an emergent situation. Of course, it can also subsequently cause an emergent situation. Be aware and ready to be able to discern if you need to fight or fly. Quickly triage the situation to properly assess if it is an emergency needing immediate attention or if it is just a passing flare up. Our adrenaline triggers are easily accessible today.
Our nighttime hours are busy leading up to our early morning New Moon. The Moon finds Uranus by trine at 1:02 AM and many are ready for change and deeper sense of personal freedom. Meanwhile, Venus in Scorpio finds Neptune by trine at 1:14 AM imbibing us with a sense of deep compassion. Then, the Moon finds Mars in Libra by sextile at 1:15 AM and we want everyone to stop fighting and use that energy, instead to plan for brighter days. But, illusive and denied triggers are still a factor as the Moon finds Chiron by square at 1:43 AM. Ditch what keeps making you sick. Walk out of denial. Quit numbing yourself. Be brave and willing to face your individual pain head on and be willing to deliver onto yourself what care you need to get better. The negative end of this energy has us doing completely the opposite. Suicides and overdoses are likely a factor throughout the week and they definitely meet with punctuation tonight.
Remember, you essentially cannot MAKE anyone do anything. Your best focus is laid upon yourself. What can you personally do to help your situation or the world's condition? What changes can you make internally, even on a small scale? How can you re-frame your perspective? Has faith abandoned you? Or, saving you? The New Moon offers us a chance to foster a new faith, a new vision of tomorrow and a higher more generous sense of self. Prepare and pontificate what those vows might look like. The opportunity to set new supportive vows for the future and embark on a different kind of emotional journey waxes into our sphere in the morning under the New Moon in Sagittarius.

Friday, December 11, 2015

Welcome to a chance at a brand new start and a day in which we can foster new philosophy in regard to how we digest the happenings in the world. It's a good day for new agreements in regard to International Affairs and it is also a good day to take an optimistic look into a future that we are deliberately and consciously trying to build. Our New Moon occurs at 5:31 AM under the influence of the following Sabian Symbol: 20 Sagittarius: Men cutting the ice of a frozen pond, for summer use. Depth of operation necessary to prepare for next phase of life. Sacrifice of present to future. Thoroughness in action.

It's obvious that setting forth plans for the future is a thing under this Moon. And, we may be called to “suffer in the moment” as we embark on our journey to get there. Yes, there could be a call to make sacrifice in the present day in an effort to build a stronger and more supportive tomorrow. We are called to don practical wisdom, with this New Moon's ruler lodged in Virgo, and to make well thought out and responsible plans delineating everything (thoroughly, as the sabian suggests) into manageable and supportive steps forward. The path ahead seems long and arduous under a square from this New Moon to her current ruler at 11:00 AM. But, the steps can be broken down bit by chewable bit and put in order of practical priority given the condition of Mercury and Jupiter who are both lodged in methodical and realistic Earth signs. One day at a time and one deliberate step at a time is strongly indicated while employing wisdom, generosity and optimism instead of trying to become the pontificating know-it-all who suddenly woke up to all the answers to world's problems. Aim for the higher expression of Jupiter which is benevolence and generosity instead of the lower which is self-righteous and overly self-assured. Humility and grace in action are key stepping stones to a more solid path forward. They don't sell that at Walmart, folks. It's an inside job. One of those things that money can't buy. Patience is a necessary virtue under this sky.

Following the square to Jupiter, the Moon is Void until entering Capricorn at 1:47 AM overnight.

Saturday, December 12, 2015

This morning we wake up under a Capricorn Moon and call to productivity. The mind is a busy place going over all the things we are responsible for addressing and reminding us to remain the conscientious wardens of our words and thoughts..which have a tendency to be quite serious at this time. The Moon meets Mercury in Capricorn by conjunction at 8:44 AM.

As the Moon leaves cerebral Mercury, the mood is softened and subdued a bit by a mini-trine formed with subsequent sextiles to Neptune in Pisces (2:56 PM) and Venus in Scorpio (6:37 PM). We are responsibly compassionate, and there are plenty of matters that we are deeply concerned with right now. Allow that energy to soften and subdue you and sink into what brings you pleasure and reprieve.
The morning is spinning with ideas and ambition, but by evening, we are ready to take things a bit easier. An ability to get your chores and responsibilities taken care of early in the day allows room for resting on your laurels tonight with a nice supportive sense of personal satisfaction for the progress you have made.
Overnight, though, the Mood does deepen and paranoia along with emotional control tactics potentially come into play under a conjunction from the Capricorn Moon to Pluto at 4:04 AM. This energy will hang like a heavy veil as we enter our Sunday under a square from the Moon to Uranus at 8:03 AM. Get a good night's rest tonight, if you can. The firework show has the potential to continue into our tomorrow after a brief intermission. Take advantage of the opportunity for a break under this evening's late Venus/Neptune/Moon mini-trine.
