Morning Star: Daily Astrology for June 26, 2015

This morning the Moon is Void in Libra until 1:58 PM when it enters Scorpio. Her first aspect is a supportive trine to Mars in Cancer. A lunar trine to Mars can be quite motivating. Our productivity is, however, dependent upon our mood. So, if we are feeling lazy and want to relax, our motivation follows that feeling. If we are feeling focused and energized, our motivation follows that road. Either way, this aspect assists us to get fully onboard with and engaged in whatever we are doing whether that is relaxing or working...though, I think relaxing will be higher on folks' priority lists today.

By midnight, the Moon is in harmonious trine with the Sun in Cancer. I don't know what it is about these two signs (Cancer and Scorpio) but they seem to mesh fairly well. To me, that “meshing” goes beyond just the compatibility of water signs. There is a certain type of attachment fostered between Cancer and Scorpio. Playing out in relationship, even when the circumstances of the relationship are horrible, Cancer and Scorpio will cling together. I've also seen stalking occur between the two signs coming from both directions. It's a weird dynamic that I've not figured out quite yet except that it does have to do with water, the Moon and Pluto. Happening in aspect, these two signs often manifest as cohesion between Ego and Emotion while producing a feeling of ease and reducing feelings of internal conflict at least temporarily. This energy is great for self-care and fostering a nesting space for healing. It's not overly ambitious or catalyzing. It's eased just enough that it is not overwhelming. However it can produce tears and emotionality since it does occur in water. If you need to purge, don't hold it back. If you need to stop caring for everyone else and take some time to focus on your care, DEFINITELY do so. Or, if you just want to go home and call it a night, you can do that too.

There is nothing overly harsh about this day. It's fairly quiet and dull in the morning followed by a brief uptick in energy around the Moon/Mars trine. Then, we enter our overnight hours with a potential point of ease. The day is watery, though. So know there may be some emotionality in our later hours. But, other than that, there is opportunity to gently move forward while preparing for the weekend. This is energy that produces internal synergy and cohesion while offering us a chance to refresh and rejuvenate. The “softening” and wateryness continues into our morning hours tomorrow with another water trine between the Moon and Neptune. Catch up on your rest and sleep in if you need to. Restoring your personal energy levels when given the opportunity is never a bad idea.
