Morning Star: Daily Astrology for Saturday, May 16, 2-015

This morning we wake up to a very fresh Moon in Taurus. The day is all about Venus and her higher octave, Neptune. Not only is Venus the current ruler of both our Sun and Moon in Taurus, but, at 2:49 PM, Venus in Cancer finds Neptune in Pisces via trine. Then, the Moon waxes into this trine creating a sextile to both. This makes a mini-trine that could prove to be very relaxing, indulgent and perhaps even a little melodic. The mini-trine between the Moon, Venus (7:27 PM) and Neptune (7:06 PM) envelops our evening hours. I don't see much in the way of ambition today. It's more of a day in which we just enjoy eachother's company and sit back, prop our feet up and unwind a bit. If you live near a lake, ocean or large body of water today would be a good day to float in it or simply hang out on the shore enjoying the fresh breeze. If it's raining in your neck of the woods, it's a wonderful day to curl up on the couch and listen quietly to the gentle patter of the raindrops. Midday nap opportunities abound. But, in that, irritation and frustration tolerance will be looooooooow. Anything that is typically a minor irritant feels like it is a clawing minion burying under your skin...the bulls may get more angry than typical in response to being prodded. Leave them alone and stamp your foot in demanding of your own peace and comfort if need be.

This is a great day for lovers. But, it could be not so great if you are love sick and lonely. Venus/Neptune can magically sweep you away or create a huge hollow space in your chest depending on the circumstances you find yourself in. If it's the latter, and you find yourself forlorn, lonely and lovesick, be gentle with yourself. That is how most of this day should be handled anyway---with gentleness, compassion, ease. Lay down your plow. Come in from the fields and take a leisurely dip in the pond or pour a nice ice cold glass of sweet tea and sip away. All cows are granted a day off...ENJOY!
