Morning Star: Daily Astrology for Saturday, May 30, 2015

This morning we wake up to the Moon in newly in Scorpio (5:34 AM). Meanwhile, Mercury Rx is backing up to meet the Sun. This occurs at 12:56 PM while both bodies are within orb of a square to Neptune. The Sun officially meets Neptune by square tomorrow. But, the energy is tight enough to be felt today. Mars, too, is still lingering around this conjunction which occurs at 8 Gemini 58.
Mars is well on his way, though, to forming an inconjunct with Pluto. This inconjunct becomes more prominent as the Moon waxes into sextile with Pluto tomorrow creating a Yod with Mars in Gemini in the process. What we choose to put our energy into becomes important at that time as well as acting upon what it is we have learned.
This is my cat. His name is Mercury. Here, he is conjunct the Sun...lol..get it?
The inconjunct between Mars and Pluto tightens as we journey closer to our Full Moon in Sagittarius. As a matter of fact, the aspect perfects about an hour prior to Full Moon on June 2. At that time, as this occurs, another Yod is formed with Mars and Pluto. This one involves a sextile from Mars to Jupiter (June 5) with Pluto riding the apex. Again, what we choose to put our energy into gains in importance as well as acting upon what we have learned (Jupiter). Determining the best action to take in an effort to benefit our future selves and the collective is the goal. Many have grown at a tremendous rate and we are now being called to act on that wisdom and knowledge. How we do this has an effect upon how we build the foundation under our future (Pluto in Capricorn). Set your mind on that as you are trying to decide what to do for the next few days.

This Yod with Mars/Pluto/Jupiter has hang time and the Full Moon will be in opposition to Mars in Gemini while trining Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Aries. So it not only remains in force, but it stands as beacon shedding light on what is to come under Sagittarius' full illumination during which emotions can only be described as largely radical and potentially erratic. If you feel compelled to do something, driven to complete something or feel a deep pull toward something, ask yourself “why?” What is motivating you? What's driving this bus? Does that need to be adjusted? Does that adjustment in priority or reason change what it is you think you should do? Logic is still confused but we can re-assess our reasoning. There is time to do so right now. And with the Moon in Scorpio creating a Yod of her own with Mars/Pluto, now is a great time to check out what is driving us. I would suggest paying attention to these things today instead of waiting until the Full Moon when emotions will likely be cresting, erupting, exploding...all heated up. Use today's inclination toward introspection to check under your own hood and assess your motor for potential problems.

On a literal level, as Astrology has a tendency to be, this is also a good time to check the fluid levels in your vehicle and other machinery. Summer can be tough on machinery after a long winter. Also, ward yourself against sunburn, dehydration and heat exhaustion.

Much of the world is entering summertime and temperatures are rising. Just like our vehicles need to adjust, so do our bodies. Under the Full Moon, there is a Grand Fire Trine (as I mentioned before). Folks will be inclined to be active and most likely partaking in outdoor activities..sporting events, traveling, moving and shaking. Be sure your body is well prepped and protected for that. Increasing your mobility while ensuring the health of both your mechanical machines and your bodily machine will help each to endure the increase in activity. Sometimes we have a tendency to take effectively working machinery (mechanical/bodily) for granted. Now is certainly not a good time to do that. Pay heed to the need of maintenance and prepare each for the long journey ahead.
