This morning we wake up to the Leo Moon
making a nice active sextile with Mars in Gemini at 9:16 AM. This
motivates us to get up and get out in the world or at least gives us
the oomph we need to move around a bit. Hopefully the weather is nice
in most areas so folks can enjoy being outside. There is plenty of
activity going on this weekend in the US with the first official
Summer holiday upon us. There are festivals, cookouts, parades and
community events to attend. Families are gathering in light of the
extended weekend and many will be relaxed and ready to sink into that
type of light socialization.
By 5:35 PM, the Moon is in sextile to
Mercury Rx and everyone is busy catching up on what has occurred
since they last had a chance to visit. This is light, chatty and
friendly if not a little playful. Our Sun is still within orb of an
opposition to Saturn, so even if we are enjoying reconnecting with
some folks we don't get to see daily, we are encouraged to lean upon
our grown up selves and maintain a sense of responsibility and
boundary while doing so. In other words, reminisce, but don't regress
to toddler status. However, a little play never hurt anyone. This is
a great day for outdoor games like volleyball, basketball, badminton
or horseshoes (weather permitting, of course). It's also great for a
bit of hiking, biking or anything conducive to being active. But,
it's even better for just gathering together and collectively shaking
off some heavier dust in favor of a bit of lightness and fun.
The rest of the day, the Moon waxes
toward a nice conjunction with Jupiter (midnight). This will
reactivate both the Yod with Pluto Rx, Jupiter and Mercury Rx as well
as the 2nd Yod with Pluto Rx, Chiron and Jupiter. There's
room for healing and changing your point of view (potentially upon
past events). Allow yourself some wiggle room in that and let your
perspective be flexible. Overall, give yourself a break and enjoy
this day. Tomorrow the Moon is Void all day following a trine with
Uranus at 6:50 AM. However, on Monday, more harsh weather moves in
and the sky becomes a little more “tight” under our First Quarter
Moon. Let's worry about that when it gets here. Overall, give
yourself a break, get out there and enjoy this day.
