Morning Star: Daily Astrology for Tuesday, May 18, 2015

This morning we wake up to our Gemini Moon leaving a conjunction with her current backward ruler, Mercury (4:07 AM). From here, our Gemini Moon waxes into sextile with Jupiter and Juno who are snuggled up in playful Leo (7:25 AM). You know, that doesn't sound half bad. There may be some nervousness and a twinge of anxiety that comes in through the Moon/Mercury conjunction. But, I feel that the sextile to Jupiter/Juno is pretty uplifting this morning. Blossoming energy.

In our early afternoon, the Moon sextiles Uranus (1:58 PM) bringing more lightness of being. Early this evening, there is a chance of a bit of “raining on our parade” possible as the Moon waxes into square with Chiron in Pisces at 5:53 PM. From here, the Moon is Void until entering Cancer at 9:57 AM in the morning.

I'm a little shocked, to be frank. Today looks pretty good. My Saturn in Gemini is frowning and saying, “Humbug! I'm doubting it!” LOL. But. It does look as if we are uplifted in the morning and further exalted in the evening with just a small chance of dour entering our sphere later. The day is earmarked for trying something new, getting out and about, socializing and breaking free. Tomorrow doesn't seem too eventful either. The Moon is active after entering Cancer, but her first aspect (a trine to Neptune) doesn't occur until the morning of the 21st (3:33 AM). So, she spends the day tomorrow waxing into this oceanic vibe that prompts us more toward drifting than becoming too involved in anything overly assertive or ambitious. Our last days of Taurus season seem to have us lazing around in the fields gazing up at the sky and pontificating puffy cloud animals. Not...so...bad!
