Today, we start sobering up a little.
Waking up. The tides begin to recede a bit. The Moon is still
lingering in Pisces this morning. Overnight, she was revitalized by a
sextile to Pluto just after midnight. This morning, however, she is
waxing straight toward Chiron and Vesta. I was just speaking about
the conjunction between Chiron and Vesta this morning. The two are
snuggled right up in Pisces. I felt pain when I first looked at this
aspect. It's as if what makes us feel alive also hurts us in some
way. But, on the converse of that polarity, what fulfills us
spiritually may help us understand or alleviate some of our deeper
pains. Yes, the energy can work both ways. And, today, we have the
opportunity to get a sense of that with the Moon's conjunction to
this pair at 9:52 AM.
From here, the Moon makes a nice
grounded sextile to our Sun in Taurus at 12:56 PM. She then reaches
Void status until entering Aries at 1:15 AM. Emotional energy gets a
12 hour break before it's time to be REALLY REALLY AWAKE under the
Aries Moon tomorrow.
Today we finish allowing everything to
dissolve and congeal. Then, we rest upon it while getting prepared to
act upon how we feel. We've been floating for several days. Finally,
the water is subsiding and we will be able to gain a bit of traction
under the power of a Moon/Saturn trine in the morning. Meanwhile, the
Moon is growing ever increasingly dark as we approach the New Moon in
Taurus at midnight on the 18th. We do experience some
“drag” between now and then as Mars will oppose Saturn on May
15th while the Moon is still active in Aries. Honestly, I
don't like the looks of that much at all but that's simply because
I'm not a huge fan of Mars/Saturn via harsh aspect. Perhaps our
warrior needs to be tamed a bit. But, with Mercury in his shadow,
Mars opposing Saturn and Venus waxing into trine with Neptune, it
just looks like a struggle to accomplish anything to me. It's as if
we want to take off running under the Aries Moon but can only gain
momentum through trudging. We are called to streamline our
multi-tasking and instead tackle one thing diligently at a time.
Then, when the Moon enters Taurus and Venus officially trines Neptune
we may just give it all up in favor of enjoying the finer things in
life. Eh, c'est la vie. The trudging comes as we drag ourselves
through the end of our work week while the “give it up” and “take
a break” energy comes in just in time for the weekend. So, it may
play out as par for the course, too. But, an initiating Moon under
the heaviness of it's ruler opposing Saturn sounds really grumpy to
me. So, know that is a possibility as we finish up our week.
