Morning Star: Daily Astrology for Sunday, May 24, 2015

In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the Lion sleeps tonight. This morning we wake up to a Void Moon in Leo after she leaves a trine with Uranus at 6:50 AM. She remains Void until entering Virgo at 4:52 AM tomorrow morning. That's nearly a 24 hour Void Moon that packs a bit of a break from emotionality. Not to worry, though. The lights are turned back on the Moon ALL DAY tomorrow under some pretty harsh aspects the first one being a square from Moon to Saturn at 7:48 AM in the morning. The hits just keep rolling from there, too.

That being said, relax into this day. It's not earmarked for ambition (Mars is waxing into square with Neptune and the Moon, from Virgo, and Mercury Rx will be adding to that mix creating one wishy-washy mutable t-square all perfecting tomorrow). Today is light enough to enjoy good company and to grab onto a bit of rest and relaxation. Catch your breath and rest up while incorporating a bit of enjoyment in this day, if you can. Get your feet firmly underneath you and get prepared to face the harsher energies we have ahead of us on Monday.

Looking ahead
Monday: The Moon is in Virgo squaring Saturn, Mars/Mercury Rx and opposing Neptune. The Moon acts as a temporary bridge linking up a mutable cross that eventually fades to a mutable t-square. Meanwhile, Venus squares off with Uranus as she continually bridges a t-square in Cardinal signs. Mars officially squares Neptune. And, we are gifted with a very dynamic First Quarter Moon.

Tuesday: The Moon is still working this mutable t-square as we begin our day. But, some of the emotional haze begins to fade as we approach midday and the Moon trines Pluto and and sextiles Venus tickling the fading Cardinal Cross with a inconjunct to Uranus to boot. Moon is Void after an opposition with Chiron at midnight.

Wednesday: Mercury Rx meets Mars in Gemini by conjunction. Both are well within orb of a square to Neptune as this occurs. The Moon remains Void until entering Libra at 5:43 pm. This lunar movement occurs just after Venus finds Chiron in Pisces by trine.

Thursday: Most of this day is colored by a waxing sextile from the Libra Moon to Saturn Rx in Sagittarius. The day is solid and well boundaried.

Friday: The Moon in Libra plays nice with the Sun in Gemini. Then she moves forward making a nice trine with Mercury Rx and Mars in Gemini too. The words “windy” and “airy” immediately come to mind. She is, however, also waxing into square with Pluto and sextile with Jupiter as Mercury Rx officially squares off with Neptune overnight. There is a bit of flux that enters our spheres overnight that will trickle into our Saturday.

Saturday: Mercury Rx is square Neptune while the Moon in Libra opposes Uranus and creates a yod of her own through a sextile with Jupiter and inconjunct to Chiron in Pisces. Chiron is at the apex of this Yod as Jupiter, still, also holds inconjunct to Pluto. This creates opposing fingered Yods one with the apex pointing at Chiron (as previously mentioned) while the second points at Jupiter. We are emotionally invested in both. The Moon squares off with her ruler, Venus in Cancer, in the early evening. From here, she is Void until entering Scorpio early Sunday Morning.

Sunday: The Moon is in Scorpio as Mercury Rx meets the Sun by conjunction. There is cluster of Sun, Mercury Rx and Mars in Gemini with all bodies in orb of a square to Neptune. Sounds shifty to me. The Moon will pass by this Sun/Mercury/Mars conjunction by inconjunct. But, her first strong aspect, a trine to Neptune, doesn't wax in until midnight.
