Morning Star: Daily Astrology for Monday, May 4, 2015

This morning we wake up to the Sun in Taurus squaring Jupiter in Leo (5:03 AM) and a blown out Moon in Scorpio. I see stubbornness and potential obstinacy when I look at that. But, there are more potentials that fit. Your self-confidence could get a boost. This aspect could bring laughter. The caution is to make sure you are not being stubborn simply for stubborn's sake while realizing if you do need to stand your ground on something, you'll have the weight to do so. Also, avoid becoming over confident as that can lead to judgment errors. This aspect can lift you up out of any darkness you fell into under yesterday's Full Moon, however.

By 1:11 PM, the Moon is trine with Chiron in Pisces. There could be a few aches that still need to be addressed. Or you may encounter someone who has similar pains as you. The two of you may be able to exchange tips in regard to how to deal with it. Or, you may simply take a few moments in the day to heal and nurture your wounds...there is space here to consciously address your pains, if necessary.
By 9:50 PM the Moon is in a befuddling opposition to Mars in Taurus. This can be ambiguous in that we feel one way but have to act another. It could be that certain aspects of the work we have to do seem shallow and devoid of meaning. We could feel a lack of purpose. Or, simply, we may just be irritable and easily agitated. Either way, the energy is kinda irksome. To balance it out, purposely restore meaning into your work. Even sweeping the floor can become a meaningful activity if you ascribe personal meaning to it. Without that, the task is merely menial. We could also receive insight into deeply ingrained behavior patterns that lead to the things we “always” do. It's essential to assess the “why's” under a Scorpio Moon.

From here the Moon is Void until entering Sagittarius at 7 AM tomorrow. The emotional body rests long enough for us to recapture a bit of rest. Chances are many will be ready and willing to accept that.
