Today the Moon moves from Capricorn to
Aquarius (1:44 PM) with only a brief VOC period in between (20
minutes). As we begin our day, the Capricorn Moon is in square to
Mercury in Aries (4:15 AM). Our Moon's ruler, Saturn, is currently
retrograde making responsibility an inside job. Therefore, I don't
see this square playing out so much as someone else hovering over us
telling us what we can say or think. I see this more of a
self-inflicted directive delivered in that direction. Brains are
active and motivated in Aries. But, basically, anything in Aries has
a feeling of newness wrapped up in the energy of youth. Perhaps we
need to say something, but our inner parent judges it as too harsh,
non-effective, too self centered or perhaps even a little overly
ambitious. Gentle self guidance is called for here in figuring out
the best approach. First, discern what the truth is and then, go from
there. Problem with that is Mercury in Aries speaks quickly while a
Capricorn Moon bears the weight of responsibility for what occurs in
the aftermath. For example, if you are a business owner (Capricorn)
it's important to cover the bases with your new employees about how
to address your customers so it aligns with the culture of the
business itself while supporting your company's mission statement.
So, after you discern the truth, discern your purpose for speaking in
the first place. What is the truth? What is your goal? How can you
convey both without just randomly shooting off your mouth? Of course,
Mercury in Aries will not enjoy this pull back. The placement wants
to speak it's mind outright as the information comes in. So, yes,
there is a bit of an inner struggle here. It certainly can play out
in more ways than that.
Let's say you want to jump in your
sports car (Mercury in Aries) and drive really fast (Mercury in
Aries). It's a beautiful day and you are yearning to roll the windows
down, turn the radio up and cruise with the wind blowing through your
hair. The Capricorn Moon hovers overhead to remind us that we have a
responsibilities even in that. Driving too fast and inattentively
puts others in danger. So, we have to bear the weight of that while
we are moderating our driving experience. Or, maybe we are prone to
jump the gun and draw conclusions about information we encounter
while the Capricorn Moon reminds us that it may be best to not draw
conclusions right away but to put the facts in a flow chart or
something before making a decision. Maybe we need to redirect
ourselves from overly negative or overly optimistic ideology. Maybe
we have some unorthodox ideas and the Capricorn Moon reminds us, “It
has never worked that way before. Such things don't fit into our
business plan.” Mercury in Aries' pioneering response to that could
very well be, “Well, it's high time it did!” Again. Discern the
truth. Remember your goal then speak directly from that podium. The
good news? This is the toughest aspect of the day. LOL...SWEET!
In the meantime, Mars is waxing into a
relaxing and softening sextile with Neptune in Pisces (1:23 PM). Our
plowing Ox of the last few days is ready for a nap. Or, he's at least
ready to turn on some tunes to plow to. Either way, ambition wanes a
bit and we are more prone to slow down than increase our momentum.
Hey. Follow that urge. It's midday on Sunday. All work and no rest
debases long-term goals of productivity. Take that nap. You deserve
it.
If Mars in sextile to Neptune doesn't
prompt you to slow down and relax, then the trine from our Aquarius
Moon to Venus in Gemini will (4:08 PM). It's time to call up some
friends for some leisure activities. Going to see a new 3D movie with
modern day special effects would be a good idea. Leisurely browsing
on your techy devices may be a call you feel. Either way, we are
prone to keep things light and breezy sipping from life's various
pleasures. Formerly intense emotions are now waning as the Moon grows
darker. Ecliptic events are continually fading into the background as
we adjust to our new surroundings. The seas are calm and the breeze
is warm for awhile. I don't know about you, BUT I'LL TAKE THAT!
Later tonight (8:59 PM) the Moon in
Aquarius meets her traditional ruler, Saturn Rx in Sagittarius, by
supportive sextile. We are pretty satisfied with our ability to
self-regulate and meet our responsibilities. This could certainly
allow us to rest easier tonight. We've worked hard. We've played
hard. Now it's time to wind down and prepare to meet another official
work week tomorrow.
Monday is pretty dynamic too. The Moon
links up a fixed t-square with Mars in Taurus and Jupiter newly
direct in Leo. Then, later in the day, the Moon meets her modern
ruler, Uranus in Aries, by supportive sextile. So, there is pressure
to perform in our early morning but a that is followed by a sense of
freedom and independence. Even with the pressure of Monday morning,
there is a sense of ease in our evening hours on Monday that will
extend all the way into Tuesday morning. The seas don't start to
bubble again until the Moon enters Pisces late Tuesday evening. Enjoy
the break from overwhelming emotionality until then.
