Morning Star: Daily Astrology for Tuesday, March 31, 2015

This morning we wake up to a Void Moon in Leo. The Moon remains Void until entering Virgo at 2:14 PM. This morning we may not feel “engaged” in the circumstances of the day. We may operate mechanically as if we were on autopilot. However, the opportunity to engage arrives immediately after the Moon enters Virgo and waxes into trine with Mars newly in Taurus (2:21 PM).

Man. You talk about no-nonsense. This is a very “matter of fact” aspect. I freaking love Earth trines. Solid. Grounded. Fortifying. “It is what it is. So do what you got to do.” It's that simple. There is traction to be had in our evening hours.

From here, the Moon begins waxing into a heavy anchoring and sobering square with Saturn Rx in Sagittarius. We may berate ourselves with “shoulda, coulda, woulda” stuff. If you held yourself accountable under yesterday's sky, the potential for regret and remorse decreases a bit. Again, do what you can live with. Either way, the reality of the situation rears its ugly head and we are forced to face it under the square from the Moon to Saturn.

Practicality is accessible. So is the ability to triage the situation and do what needs to be done to “fix it” if it is indeed “fixable.” There is a need to be of service to others under this Moon. Don't get so wrapped up in your own drama that you cannot afford to help others. We are accountable not only for our own future, but also the future of the collective. That responsibility falls directly on our shoulders tonight. Be easy with yourself. It's not your responsibility to swoop in like a superhero and save the entire world all by yourself. All that is being asked is that you do your part. Only you know if you are truly doing the best that you can. If you feel that you are, cut yourself some slack. If you fall short of that, then vow to do better from here. You cannot go back and change what has already occurred. The only path open at this point is the one forward. Retrospect and hindsight are to learn from not weaponry to beat yourself up with.

Besides, the story ain't over yet, folks. The Moon is growing and becoming so engorged with energy that she looks as if she may burst open at any moment. The Full Moon eclipse is coming and bringing the unexpected with her. In that, the Earth will pass directly through the oppositional line between the Sun and the Moon casting a darkening shadow across the Moon while blocking the Sun's rays from reaching her temporarily. This is pure emotion. Again, we are left without the ego's protective shell and brought into the reality of the situation. Consequence is felt acutely. It's really real. There are ties that risk permanent severance under this incoming eclipse.

The ability to accept reality is of paramount importance today. So cut the BS out of the equation and do what you've got to do. Don't half ass it either. Put your best efforts forward so that when the Moon meets Saturn you can rest a bit easier knowing you gave it your all regardless of what is due to occur next.
