Morning Star: Daily Astrology for February 10, 2015

This morning we wake up to the Moon in Scorpio. Emotional depth. Yesterday we were para-sailing. Today we are deep sea diving.

The Moon's first aspect waxes in while most of us are still sleeping. She makes a square to Mercury quivering in his station preparing to turn direct tomorrow (!!!) in Aquarius at 4:52 AM. By 3:16 PM, she is in trine to Neptune in Pisces. There's that potential for the 2:30 PM crash again at the end of our workday.

Today is a very subtle day. Not much chatter. But, there is plenty of information exchanged on a deeper level. Subsurface conversations happen. We feel our way through the day and may be able to sense if someone is swimming in turbulent waters even if they don't speak a word. Intuition is kicking. So be sure to check in with yours to see what it has to say.

The day isn't overly ambitious either. It's more flowy and subdued. This is a wonderful day for expressing your emotions through some kind of art or tapping into the flow of your favorite music. It could also be used for an emotional purge if you need one of those. If you've been holding onto tears, today is the day to let them go.

It's also a great day for detoxing and re-hydrating. The Moon is waning. This calls us to deliberately release. If you feel tension, open and stretch your hands. Hold your arms straight out with your palms stretched open facing the sky. Then imagine whatever you are holding onto flying out of your hands as if you had been holding a bird. Take a few slow deep breaths. Center. Physically stretching the rest of your body helps to revitalize and ease larger systems. Match your breath harmoniously to your movements.

Under a Scorpio Moon we can focus on releasing toxins be they chemical or emotional. Purify your personal waters but be sure to replace them with fresh, clean water in the process. Let it flow through you. Be replenished and embrace the quiet healing.
