Ahhh, Moon in Taurus. You know, it's my
favorite time of the month. I'm sure the Moon placed here is
troublesome for some folks. But, for me, it is pure bliss. Plus, with
the Sun in Capricorn, we hit a sweet spot through trine from the Moon
to the Sun later today (10:41 PM).
Before the Moon dances harmoniously
with the Sun, though, she meets Neptune by sextile at 3:30 PM.
Remember the ambition from the last two days? Where did it go? Do we
care?
Moon in sextile to Neptune from Taurus
is soft, rich and relaxing. Talk about a great day for a midday nap!
Or a massage...or a soak in a nice bubbly warm bath...or a
manicure/pedicure...or indulging in whatever kind of luscious
self-pampering escape that you choose. Mercury also makes an
inconjunct to Jupiter around the same time. So, we could be met with
a notion that says, “Relax. Everything is going to be alright.”
And, we could very well follow that notion.
This is a day for finding gratitude in
regard to what we have right now moreso than fostering ambition
toward what it is we want. This is the day where we assess how much
we have endured and how much we have worked and decide, “You know,
I deserve an easy day.” Hopefully an easy relaxed day is what this
Moon will deliver to us.
But, you know there is always potential
for a negative spin. People could really dig their heels in today and
refuse to budge even when they need to. However, the overall energy
is Earthy and comfortable bringing forth a desire to indulge in
Earthy and tangible pleasures. So, make sure you have the right kind of carrot on the end of your stick if you are tempting someone to move.
Or, give up on the struggle and let sleeping cows lie.
It's a great day to be leisurely. I'll
be using it to make sweet goodies for New Year's Eve festivities.
Cupcakes, particularly...because, I like cupcakes and so does this
Moon which hangs actively with us all the way through to the 1st
when she finally goes Void following a trine with Venus at 7:20 AM.
Prepare to ring the New Year in on a sweet, rich and optimistic note.
Take this opportunity to relax. We hit the ground running in several
directions at once, again, soon enough. Get well grounded and on
solid ground in preparation for what follows this Moon. You'll thank
yourself for it later.
