This morning we wake up to the Moon in
Libra still seeing action. Overnight, she passed through the powerful
crunch of Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn. Today, she makes
several minor, yet subtly defining aspects. At 1:36 AM she passed
over Chiron in Pisces by inconjunct. At 3:18 AM she meets Saturn in
Scorpio by semi-sextile. At 2:46 PM, she meets Neptune by
sesquisquare. What all that means is there is a quiet realization
that this collective pain does affect us directly. It permeates and
affects our relationships and how we feel about one another.
Knowledge of our own shadow, our collective shadow and the abuses of
power leads us forward in decision making as we feel the staunch
affects each has had upon us as individuals and as a culture. The
sesquisquare to Neptune brings empathy, compassion and feeling to an
otherwise intellectual and analytical Moon. These minor aspects work
below the surface. They aren't something we typically pay attention
to until something happens and we look back in retrospect trying to
figure out what caused it. Sometimes they end up being integral
pieces of a larger puzzle.
By 7:31 PM, our Libra Moon catches a
bit of a break with an uplifting sextile from Jupiter in Leo. Our
minds shift gears at 10:53 PM as Mercury moves from Sagittarius to
Capricorn. Then, finally, the Moon finds the Sun by sextile before
reaching Void status at a little past midnight (12:40 AM). The Void
period persists overnight and into the early morning hours. The Moon
enters Scorpio tomorrow at 9:52 AM.
Our Libra Moon has worked her pretty
little rear off for the last few days. Things were ugly, unrefined
and taxing. She is more than ready for a rest tonight. The indication
for this evening is to lighten up a little bit. Relax. Unwind. Rest.
Recuperate.
At the same time, we are called to help
those in need. Many people will be reliant on acts of charity and
humanity at this time. In the midst of recent chaos, people have lost
their homes and much more. Therefore, the aspects from the Moon to
Jupiter and the Sun could prompt us to reach out to folks we have the
power to assist tonight. On the other side of that, folks in need may
be reaching out for assistance within social groups and their circles
of friends. Now is not the time to turn a cold shoulder to these
requests for help and it is certainly not the time to further your
suffering due to a resistance to ask for or accept help. Gather and
huddle together. Share resources. Use this time to gain perspective
on the challenges in your personal life by reaching out to others who
are suffering too. You only have to be the lone wolf if you choose to
be. The protective power of the pack is accessible to everyone. Don't
be shy about rejoining the circle or in sending out invitations for
the prodigal children to come back home.
