Morning Star: Daily Astrology for December 3, 2014

This morning we wake up to the mooooooon in Taurus. Her first aspect of the day is a sextile to Neptune in Pisces at 8:50 AM. It may be hard for us to drag our bovine selves out of bed this morning. It's already been a long week. And, Taurus is inclined to laze while Neptune provides just the right amount of Sandman magic to encourage that.

Later tonight, the Moon makes a couple of quirky inconjuncts to the Sun (9:05 PM) and Mercury (4:17 PM) in Sagittarius. Most of the day is steady and stable. We plod along doing what we need to do and stopping to graze along the way. The atmosphere is much more relaxed than what we have encountered the first of the week. These inconjuncts can come in like a loud disturbing noise or rambunctious chatter. Nothing severe. Just a little startling. I'm not expecting a full blown stampede as a result.

By 9:47 PM the Moon is in a luscious trine with Pluto in Capricorn. A cup of nice smooth warm dark hot chocolate would be just lovely before bed. Or, any other type of divine indulgence will do. We deserve it.

Today is great if you can keep a slow and steady momentum and leave room for breaks and grazing along the way. A nap would be nice. So would some of Mom's Chicken and Dumplings or some other favorite home recipe.

Expect that some will dig in their heels stubbornly today. And, from where I'm sitting, depending on what they are digging their heels in about, I don't blame them. We need to take a break from the rapid pace and find some pleasure in life. Grab some of that however you choose be it simply through an afternoon seista, a massage, your favorite meal or some good old fashioned lovin.
