Morning Star: Daily Astrology for October 18, 2014

This morning we wake up to the Moon making her final aspects from Leo. Overnight, she met Mercury by sextile (2:23 AM), Saturn by square (3:35 AM) and Venus by sextile at 5:14 AM. From here she waxes toward a trine with Mars that perfects at 7:19 AM. Her final aspect comes at 9:11 AM, a sextile to the Sun in Libra. From here the Moon is Void until entering Virgo at 7:09 PM.

As the Moon leaves Leo, we are left with a feeling of possibilities, maybe even a few options. But, whatever path ahead we choose, we also realize the heaviness of the load we carry. Its not to late too cast off baggage. As a matter of fact, I highly recommend it. The more light you are, the less energy you spend in maintenance of your load. The more able you are to move quickly and swiftly if needed. A waning Moon in Virgo (7:09 AM) is perfect for clearing out and cleaning up debris. Bring a sense of order to your internal world by bringing a sense of order to and exerting control over your external environment. Don't forget to clean between your ears emptying out any negative thoughts or self-depreciating talk. Use the incoming Moon to organize and get your facts straight. Try to avoid nit-picking yourself to death. Whatever it is you are dealing with, is what it is. Berating yourself over things that cannot be changed is just as big of a waste as carrying around dead weight. So is allowing yourself to get caught up in worry and anxiety. Instead of imagining all that could go wrong, make a plan in the event it does.

Be your own nursemaid and replenish your strength coming off what was a very busy Moon in Leo.

Tomorrow has a foggy start (opposition to Neptune 5:17 AM) but ends with fortitude (trine to Pluto 5:42 PM). Rest up. Take care of the home front. By the first of next week, we have a busy Cardinal Moon and the thundering of a Solar Eclipse rumbling near by.
