Morning Star: Daily Astrology for September 26, 2014

Our Moon in Libra touches upon Mercury in Libra this morning at 8:40 AM EDT before reaching Void status. This occurs at 29 degrees of Libra. The Moon is Void for a mere 2 hours until entering Scorpio at 10:30 AM.

From here, the Moon waxes into trine with Neptune in Pisces perfecting at 8:54 PM.

Mercury has slowed down significantly and will enter Scorpio tomorrow at 6:40 PM. Mercury remains in Scorpio throughout the rest of the month giving us a chance to turn inward to examine our shadows before he flips retrograde and heads back into Libra.

As Mercury hovers around the early degrees of Scorpio, we have an opportunity to really dig deep into ourselves to discover things of which few will speak. Additionally, Mercury will be within orb of a trine from Neptune Rx in Pisces during the entirety of this short preview in Scorpio. All of this gives credence to an increasing quiet among people where most will need to become reliant upon non-verbal communication in an effort to gather information.

A slowed and fogged up Mercury in trine to Neptune in Pisces can create a sense of paranoia on one side of the extreme. Outward communication can be misconstrued easily during these days. Minds can feel sluggish and confused.

In written communication, you do have a chance to edit and review your message before attempting to convey it to someone else. However, know that it is not an indication that the receiver will comprehend what you have said in the way you have intended...if they receive it all. Messages have a tendency to get lost either literally or metaphorically with Mercury in this condition. Therefore, follow up becomes imperative if you are trying to convey something important.

In direct conversations with others, listen carefully to the feedback you receive to ensure you are both on the same page. In listening, reflect back what you are hearing from the speaker to ensure you are hearing the message they intend.

Scour through any contracts or legal documents that need to be signed requesting all the time you need to make sure you understand the details of the requirements to which you are agreeing.

Otherwise, keep messages as short and simple as possible. Know that if what is coming out of your mouth does not match what your body is saying, people will pick up on it quickly. Non-verbal cues such as body language, inflection and tone will be the largest sources of true information.

Communication through pictures, poetry and music will be favored. But, as I said before, many may grow increasingly quiet holding plans and conversations close to their chest.
