Morning Star: Daily Astrology for September 13, 2014

This morning, we wake up to the Moon in Taurus opposing Saturn in Scorpio (6:24 AM EDT). This aspect can bring harsh doses of reality. And, with Mercury also having made an opposition to Uranus overnight (4:17 AM), some of that reality may come as quite a shock.
The truth can only be found within not without. And, it does not
require your belief to remain true.

The point where Mercury and Uranus meet by opposition is also the same point where we will experience an eclipse on October 8. Perhaps we should have a look at the Sabians for this degree.

For 16 Libra: A boat landing washed away

For 16 Aries: Brownies dancing in the setting sun

I think it could be very interesting to reflect upon the recent Mars conjunction to Saturn which stopped many in their tracks through various means. Then, consider (as Libra 16 suggests) that, perhaps, there was a reason you did not or could not understand at the time for that blockage.

Oh. Don't get me wrong. These blockages rarely get a welcoming hug from me. But, it might be something worthy of consideration.

Later this morning, the Moon in Taurus will trine the Sun in Virgo (9:32 AM). At this point, the lights click off on the Moon as she enters Void status until entering Gemini at 2:27 AM overnight.

Meanwhile, Mars enters Sagittarius at 5:57 PM. We aren't likely to feel that shift until the Moon enters Gemini tonight and finds Mars by opposition at 2:54 AM. At this point, I would suggest you prepare yourself in regard to how to best direct the impending wildfire. Because, that is what Mars in Sagittarius trine Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Aries very well could equate to (which is IN FORCE during the eclipse in October). Jupiter perfects in trine to Uranus Rx on September 25th at 15 degrees Aries (see sabian for Aries above).

The sabian for 16 Leo: Sunshine just after a storm

Preparation and intention are key with this Mars transition, I believe. Because, Saturn in Sagittarius is coming.

The best use of Mars in Sagittarius goes beyond the sports/material meme of “Just do it” and, instead, punctuates the need to “Just do the right thing.” Go big or go home? Perhaps we should redefine our definition of what is considered big or grand.
I'm looking at Pistorius. I'm looking at Ray Rice. I'm looking at Mike Tyson. I'm looking at OJ Simpson. And, I'm looking at what we pin the world “role model” upon for our young boys. I'm looking at high school sports. I'm looking at this grotesque display of ineffectiveness in the world in general. And, then, I'm looking at Saturn on his way to Sagittarius and seriously thinking he cannot make it there fast enough. Frankly, I can't get unmad enough to address all this effectively.

Know there is a chance for things to burn out of control prior to any rectification being given. I will, of course, discuss how to use this Fire Trine to it's highest potential in coming days. I'm ridiculously happy to have it occurring in my solar return this year.

Yesterday, as I was stumbling over myself trying to make sense of what I wanted to say in regard to the whole Rice thing and finding nothing that seemed non-triggering or effective when I found this write up from Aaron Paquette. How to get the most desirable woman I particularly like Mr. Paquette's commentary at the very end that says, “There has never been a greater need for true warriors.

A warrior knows how to serve, how to listen, how to care for others and themselves. A warrior speaks their truth and acts from a place of integrity. A warrior protects life. The last resort for a warrior is violence. It means all else has been tried and all else has failed.

Keep your mind, your heart and your body ready. Develop a deep and honourable connection to the sacred. Respect all women, even those who don’t respect you. And serve the children and the elders with all your heart.

Don’t succumb to the peer pressure of those who would reduce you. Instead become the peer pressure that forces everyone to raise their own standards, their own efforts, just to try to match you. A warrior has one life to give and so he gives it his all.
Aaron Paquette”

Violence=Failure
To me, it is just that simple.
Today is a day for sober emotions and independent thinking. Take what you hear and pick the truth out of it with scrutiny. And, be wary of anything you read where you can find no verifiable truth. Scrutinize rhetoric and know how to recognize it. And, realize that the best way to sway people into understanding that there is a better way (above and beyond violence) is to consistently EMPLOY (Mars) and walk that TRUTH (Sagittarius).
