Early this morning, our Moon in
Sagittarius is void. At 9:39 AM EDT, she crosses into Capricorn.
I think the Sabians for Mars and
Neptune reveal the most about what is happening here. These two meet
at half past 6 degrees water. For 7 Scorpio, (Mars) the Sabian is
Deep
Sea Divers. For Neptune at 7 Pisces, the Sabian is A
cross lying on the rocks.

Capricorn that occurred in 2008 at this degree...which involved Mars
and Pluto.
Moon in Capricorn is industrious. It
needs to work. It needs to feel that it is being responsible. It
needs structure and a workable plan.
Tonight, though, our industrious Moon
meets Mars in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces as they perfect in trine.
Mars locks into trine with Neptune in Pisces at 8:14 AM. Moon meets
Neptune by sextile at 8:44 PM and Mars by sextile at 9:15 PM.

For the Scorpio, Blain Bovee (in the
link up there) says the theme is “in deep” and that it indicates
that fore warnings fall upon deaf ears. At the very end of his
article, though, he says “extreme positions in any direction can
lead to regret.” I am going to have to agree with that statement.
But, also, I take the Sabian a bit more literally. If you ARE a deep
sea diver, you don't move very quickly. You bubble around slowly.
Submerging and re-emerging takes time. The water and its weight keep
you from moving quickly and everything is dark. Quiet. Its so quiet
and the pressure outside of your body is so great, you can hear your
heart beating. You can hear your thoughts sparking in your brain. You
can feel the depth and that changes your overall perception.

Then, for Pisces 7, the sabian takes us
above surface to find a cross laying upon a rock. Bovee says this is
a call to turn toward our inner guidance system. He slates the theme
as “without a map.” Boy. Are we ever in THAT spot. There is no
effective map for the times we are in. I keep banging this drum about
doing things differently. War and violence are ineffective means of
coping. How obvious is it in the world that the loss of innocent
people in the face of a dispute between greedy Kings...is not worth
it?

How long are we going to allow the
chaos of fear to slay our people just as the mad and tumultuous seas
pick up floating debris and smash them upon jagged rocks?
We feel the responsibility for our
collective collateral damage today. We know we need a better plan.
But first, we need to work through and heal the grief we have
inflicted upon ourselves and our world. Grief must be addressed and
grief accompanies EVERY type of change. Even change for the better.
What is our Moon telling us as she
spears this trine between Mars and Neptune? The Sabian for 7
Capricorn is “A
veiled prophet speaks seized by the power of a God.”
