Morning Star: Daily Astrology for August 20, 2014

Today, we wake up to Moon in Cancer. At 5:30 PM, the Moon meets Neptune via trine. This is soft. Melodic. Poetic.

The Moon will also sextile Mercury tonight after midnight. Flowing. Imaginative writing. But, mainly, this, right now is a time to say what you need to say. Today is a day for speaking your heart.

The emotional body and the mental body are in harmony. You may be able to feel your words or express what you feel without words.

You may be able to foster compassion and empathy for others easily. You may also feel quite emotive. Emotive could actually be the word of the day.

Easy. Be gentle with yourself today. Be gentle with others. The skies are prickly and you never know when someone may be suffering and unable to speak about it.

Today, though, if you find yourself pummeled under emotive skies, please speak with someone if you can. Please try to articulate what and where it is hurting. Sometimes, when you are able to bring these things out in to the light, they shrink. The Sun dries out some of the fog. It doesn't seem nearly as big when you are holding it so close to your own perspective (as in locked in your head).

Let these things go. Don't hold on to them. Purge them.

Eat well. Solidly. And, comfort food is not a bad idea as long as you don't overdo. Drink more water. And, let us drop our moratorium on bear hugs. We could use more bear hugs in this world.
