Morning Star: Daily Astrology for August 11, 2014

This morning, we wake up to a Void Moon in Aquarius. Our Moon remains Void until entering Pisces at 8:56 AM.

The tension of the icy t-square from yesterday is melting. Hearts are softening up once again. The tides are rising.

This is my Moon. And, I'm a bit hesitant to welcome you to my watery emotional world because lately, it has been just that. Very watery. I have this problem with watching people suffer or being hurt. Particularly children. Pisces Moons can be quite emotionally sensitive. And, considering that today's Pisces Moon's major aspect is a conjunction to Neptune, you may find yourself a little teary eyed too.

I'm not afraid of tears. There are times when I welcome the release of crying and feel purified by the purging of tears. To me, sometimes it is like expelling dirty water so that it can be replaced by more clean and clear water.

Pisces Moons can be drifty and forgetful. Keep your keys tight to your person. Trust me. These things have a tendency to disappear. This Moon can become very drifty and forgetful if it has not had enough sleep or becomes over stimulated. Again, Pisces Moon's are VERY sensitive. We need time to ground, discharge and reset or we get a little...scattered.

A few minutes of meditation and alone time can go a very long way. Also, Pisces Moons have not only a sensitive emotional body but a sensitive physical body meaning, we have allergies...particularly skin allergies that produce rashes and itchies but also allergies to environmental toxins. So you could feel the blur of the Pisces Moon due to the fact you woke up with your sinuses acting all wonky and took an allergy pill.

Brain fog is common and when topped with medication due to some type of illness, it is basically a given. Some people even report feeling anesthetized or drugged (numb) during Pisces Moons. Either way, you are likely to notice the haze that overlays the day.

If you have work to do, grab onto some grounding, take several breaks, set your pace on Turtle and imbibe yourself with quite a bit of patience. Then, turn on the radio to something upbeat because your body will respond to that during this moon.

If you find yourself trapped in or wallowing in your emotions, purge. Get that stuff out of you so you can feel better even if you don't understand where it is coming from. Get it out so that it can make sense. If you need to poke your emotional body to get it started in order to get to that release of the purge, put in a sappy movie or pour on the heart wrenching tunes. That will get you going. PS I Love You is one of my go-to movies when I need a good cry. And, sometimes, you just do.

If you find yourself feeling just fine and you managed to get the day off and have nothing significant lined up, OH then enjoy the drifting! It's a great day for spending time around water., napping..or if it is raining (And geez o pete..does Pisces Moon EVER love a good rainy day) then, open up your windows and let that freshness come right to you. Or better yet, touch the rain...let it fall on your body...how long has it been since you've allowed rain to fall on your skin, on purpose? Give it a try. Take off your shoes and touch the Earth with your feet. Soak in a luxurious tub or pool. Get a pedicure...Pisces rules the feet. It is a great day to treat them a little. Sometimes they get forgotten down there!

Either way, enjoy the quiet potential of the day that comes on the heels of a manic Full Moon. Some will be sleeping that crazy weekend off today. But, for those of us who are awake, we can relish the peaceful quiet while they sleep.

A bit of energizing occurs overnight as Moon trines Mars in Scorpio right around midnight. Then Venus jumps ship from Cancer to Leo at 3:24 AM. Things are busier tomorrow, but we still have the gentleness of the Pisces Moon to float around with before we meet the WAKE UP AND GO vibes of the Aries Moon that follows.
