Morning Star: Daily Astrology for July 20 2014

Today we wake up to Moon in Taurus leaving a trine with Pluto (2:31 AM) and waxing into an opposition with Saturn (11:22 AM). This is the Moon's last check-in with Saturn before he turns direct today at 2:41 PM. At around the same time as the opposition to Saturn occurs, the Moon also finds Chiron in Pisces via sextile (12:42 PM) and begins waxing into sextile with Sun in Cancer (10:14 AM tomorrow).

Moon/Saturn can feel like the World is on your shoulders

Moon to Saturn can be heavy. However, it can also bring a solid sense of grounding and stability. Unbalanced, the energy can bring oppression from authority figures or depression. Fear, doubt or mistrust can take over. You could feel more stubborn than usual, too.

With the Sun in Cancer and Chiron in Pisces supporting this opposition, turn toward nurturing and healing of ourselves and others to help us navigate the heaviness of Saturn.

Words like duty and obligation may come into play. If you have work to do, you can tackle it today...even if it is work you are not looking forward to. However, if you need assistance, don't be afraid to ask for it. Don't try to keep your emotions all bottled up, either. Talking things out can really help you to gain perspective.

Tomorrow, Uranus in Aries stations retrograde. I notice an increase in Internet and computer flubs when Uranus is in station. Technology seems to start doing wonky things. To me, it's different than a Mercury retrograde, though. And, I usually only notice it when Uranus is stationed—not during the entire retrograde.

Overall advice, don't take yourself too seriously. Do what it is you need to do and take some time to relax and pamper yourself a bit before we head into another work week. This heaviness will pass.
