The first rule of Fight Club is we
don't talk about Fight Club.
Have you ever seen this movie? What
about Mr. Brooks? Or, Me, Myself and Irene?
If you have, then continue reading this paragraph. If you have not and don't want any of the plot spoiled then stop here and skip to the next paragraph. In each one of these films, there is a crazy man. That crazy man lives in the body of the main character in each movie. The main character does not have a clue and that is illustrated through the entirety of each story. They are aware that a menacing villian is out there but none of them realize THEY ARE THE VILLIAN!
The brain can do funny things. I find
all studies (whether I agree with them or not) that have to do with
psychology or the workings of the brain to be absolutely fascinating.
Mercury rules the way we think, learn
and communicate. In mythology, Mercury was a trickster. That makes
loads of sense given that our own brains often play tricks on us.
All of this brings me to the Astrology
of today. Welcome to the plot of a mind bending thriller. I have
another phrase to describe it which our North Node in Libra doesn't
care for so I'll just say in medical terminology its called cranium
coitus. There are casual cranium coital encounters and then there are
full blown screaming at the top of your lungs in sheer terror cranium
coital encounters. You could encounter anything that falls somewhere
in the middle. Remember, the gray areas...ok? We have aspects coming
in that can manifest as a tendency to think in “extremes.”
Today we wake up to a “wanting to get
up and get at it but keeps getting shoved down on her rear” Aries
Moon in square to Mercury in Cancer ( 8:26 AM EDT). By days end, the
Moon will link up a t-square between herself, Mercury in Cancer and
Pluto in Capricorn (square perfects at 8:40 PM). Mercury in Cancer
perfects in opposition to Pluto in Capricorn officially on July 22nd.
So, today's passage could be like watching the movie trailer for what
is officially unleashed...er ,I mean released in the "theater" of your life
as this aspect perfects. Non-coincidentally, there is a movie BEING
released in theaters on the 25th of July that 100% fits
with the theme I'm talking about here.
The caution is to not allow yourself to
become fixated or obsessed with a particular idea that may be birthed
from fear or paranoia. You may receive some powerful intuitive
messages today and during the time it takes for Mercury and Pluto to
perfect in opposition. Remember, it is not wise to act impulsively on
insight. Focus on the facts. Focus on really listening and weighing
all the messages that your intuition is giving you. Interpretation
can be tricky! Take your time to really focus and think it through
rationally before jumping to conclusions. And, focus is available.
Did you know focus and obsession came from the same energy? It does.
It is the exact same energy just directed in a different way.
The energy in our sky today can also
equate to outright conflict too. There is a big chance for
volatility. Keep that in mind, too.
Additionally, anxieties and other
psychological disorders can flare or show an increase in symptoms.
But, wow, if you need to concentrate today
and you can ground yourself appropriately in an effort to direct this
energy in that way...you could be amazed at the results.
Have research to do? Trying to unravel
a mystery? Want to get to the bottom of something you found when you
tripped over your shadow? Want to be able to have x-ray vision?
Well...here you go!This aspect could also cause tempers to flare. There could be some serious verbal exchanges. Or, by golly, you might just get to the bottom of something once and for all!
Libra energy is the missing leg of the
Cardinal Cross. Libra's principles can help you navigate anything
this T-square drudges up. Diplomacy. Mediation. Negotiation.
Compromise. Justice. Fairness. Balance.
And, if you are sleuthing to find a
mysterious and ominous foe, check the mirror and make sure that crazy
person isn't you!
