Morning Star: Daily Astrology for June 2, 2014

This morning we wake up to the Moon newly in Leo and waxing into square with Venus in Taurus (8:11 AM EDT). Moon represents what we need. Venus represents what we want. This morning, these two meet via tension. I'm tempted to tell you to feed the Lion in this battle because our "benefit" lies with emotional fortitude (Jupiter in Cancer) and Lions (Leo) eat cows (Taurus). However, I have Mars in Libra and don't feel like being called to assist to clean up a bunch of bloody messes on account of my advice. So, maybe mediate between the two for the best outcome.

This afternoon, the Moon works to form a Yod with Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn between 7 and 13 degrees. She also meets Mars (6:18 PM) and Sun (10:55 PM) via sextile bringing emotional support to motivations and ego needs. This little chain of sextiles seems fun. There's not much room for heaviness. Gemini (Sun) would rather flit from social situation to social situation than to deal with taxing emotional work. Leo (Moon) needs to put on a show and cut loose to have a little playtime. And, Mars in Libra is determined to make everything LOOK good even if it doesn't really feel good. The three of these working together will bring a bit of fresh air to the day.

Emotions are pivotal with the Yod in play most of the day. But, there is bliss out there if you are willing to attempt to find it.
