Morning Star: Daily Astrology for May 22, 2014

Our wiggly squiggly Fish Moon wallows in the mud and muck today. This morning we wake up to a Pisces Moon in sextile to Pluto in Capricorn.

Yesterday, a friend drew an animal symbolism card for me. It was Whale. Today, we ALL get a Whale!

When I have a Whale day, I spend a lot of time below the conscious surface exploring the depths. I'm quiet. Noise is subdued as if you are hearing it from under water. And, things go deep. REALLY deep. It's not for the faint of heart or for anyone who is afraid of their own shadow.

The bubble down and bubble up are sloooooow processes. It takes a lot of emotional energy and you don't want to pop up or down too quickly or you will get the bends!! NO FUN!

The depth persists as the Moon makes a conjunction with Chiron at 2:05 PM. Then, everything comes to a head, all this knowledge we have drug up from the depths of our psyche and pain have the potential to erupt as the Moon trines Jupiter in Cancer at 4:15 PM but don't forget to be discreet and grounded in your new findings as Moon also trines Saturn in Scorpio at 5:05 PM.

This Grand Trine in water going on between Saturn, Jupiter and Chiron is subtle. It is not a forceful “in your face” aspect. It is one that helps us get in touch with our wisdom and perspective (Jupiter), our boundaries and the depth of our shadows (Saturn) and acknowledge our path away from pain and toward healing (Chiron). There is great potential in this trine and it can be more easily accessed when the Moon gets involved from one of the water signs—such as the opportunity we have today.

One possibility is creating a new routine for the future. Lots of people, including myself, are experiencing overall life changes. Some of these changes were planned and expected. Some, not so much.

But, either way, when the proverbial apple cart is upset, you are forced to put things back together in a new routine. Jupiter/Saturn is there for you in that. With Chiron involved, you can incorporate boundaries and perspective around your triggers.

On a side note, you can't handle your triggers effectively (and we all have them) if you don't know where they are. Saturn and Jupiter are there to help you learn about that too. It's an emotional process occurring in water. Take meticulous care of your emotional body and treat your evolving/changing self with gentleness.

These overhauls take time, patience and diligence.

As for today, it's a watery and flowy day. Emotions are deep but supported by Jupiter (perspective) and Saturn (boundaries). Use these two tools to help you to confront whatever Moon/Chiron may dredge up from the depths.

Take a few minutes out of the day to dream. Nap. Slooow down a bit. Get lost in music. Get lost in your soul.
