Morning Star: Daily Astrology for April 19, 2014

This morning, we wake up to Moon still in Sagittarius. At 7:49 AM EDT, she makes a pleasant trine to Mercury in Aries. If you have something you need to say...wait, let me rephrase that, whether you want to say it or not you probably will. Your mind (Mercury) is connected with your emotions (Moon) and they are both ON FIRE.

Sagittarius is outspoken--to put it mildly. However, it is also honest. Mercury in Aries is direct as well. So, if you can imagine a thought coming in your head and instantly coming out of your mouth...yeah, it's a lot like that. Reticence is obsolete.

Good news is this can be a really fun aspect. Especially if you have a good sense of humor and can perk your ears to listen.

If you are a writer ,today is highlighted to get lots of work done. I know it's Saturday, but it is also a great day to lay down the written word if that's your thing.

Not so coincidentally, this IS my thing and I have a lot of work to do. So YAY!

It is also a good day to take off on a road trip, which I'm hoping to also get to do because the weather is supposed to be sweet in my neck of the woods.

Have you met my new friend? He doesn't even have a name yet!
We end the day with a trine from Moon to Sun. ANOTHER sweet aspect that can be accessed throughout the day. Moon is only Void for about 10 minutes before entering Capricorn at 9:29 PM.

This is our last day of Sun in Aries. Tonight, right before midnight the Sun enters Taurus which means you should stock up on chocolate now before the rush. However, given this weekend is Easter for lots of folks, there may be no chocolate left!

So with that, I'm going to run to the store because the thought of “no chocolate” has made me panic a bit.

Last word...ENJOY THIS DAY!
(ugh, one small disclaimer..there is this small matter of Jupiter perfecting in square to Uranus at 3:24 AM overnight on the 20th. This isn't anything new and has been in application for quite some time. But, there is most certainly an air of the "unexpected" so, um, yeah. There's your wild card and then some).
