Morning Star: Daily Astrology for March 7, 2014

Moon is still in Gemini this morning and perfecting a square to Neptune (8:12 AM). You may feel awake but not really awake. You could feel tired, dreamy, foggy, slap happy. The weight of yesterday was intense for me. So much that I slept through the day. And, I wasn't the only one to go down. As I woke this morning, I heard stories of others who also fell in one way or another...due sickness, exhaustion, accidents. Of those who remained standing, they were seeking respite and help in one form or another. It was heavy in many ways.

Today, though, we do wake up in a dreamy state. I'm a bit disoriented due to losing a day and am no stranger to Moon/Neptune by any means. I'll give you the same advice I give myself. Drink more water. Get appropriate amounts of rest. Allow yourself space and time. Look twice because things are not as they appear.

Moon/Neptune can be weepy. Emotional. Confusing. And, at times, you may even feel disconnected from your body which is very uncomfortable for some and disorienting for others.

This morning, we float. See where the seas take you. Be aware you may be more sensitive than normal and you may feel what others are feeling.

Hematite. Tourmaline. Grounding stones. They may help you this morning.

By this evening, Moon meets Uranus in Aries via sextile at 7 PM. That's quite the switch from Moon/Neptune. Uranus allows us to detach a bit emotionally and engage our higher mind in regard to emotions. Gemini Moon is all about thinking emotions through and intellectualizing them. Chatting it out. Flitting about from this bit of information to that bit of information. Socializing. In aspect to Uranus, you could be socializing or chatting about some unusual topics especially with the Moon's ruler (Mercury) still in Aquarius. And, things are lighter. Not as heavy as yesterday. Not as watery as this morning. This evening is more like a breath of fresh air.

Gemini, to me, is the butterfly of the zodiac. In symbolism, butterflies represent transformation and that is not the context I mean here. I'm talking about the flitting, light movements. Constant motion. They don't sit still for long until something else grabs their attention and they flit away.

We are flying fish today. We get to bubble up for air.

At midnight, Moon squares Chiron and that elusive pain may be poking its way back into our psyche and into our dreams. And, in the morning, we wake up to the First Quarter Moon. So, the fresh air this evening should be relished as tension is forthcoming. Use it to break free for a little while. Then, tomorrow, we take one deliberate step toward the intentions we made at the New Moon in Pisces.
